This Explains Alot

All of right wing bloggers love to bash Code Pink without looking into what they are really after and the best way to do that is to look at their founder Medea Benjamin. I had heard her on Michael Medved's show a couple times and knew she was a moonbat lefty but she is a product of the Vietnam era hippie communist movement as well. A commenter at Hot Air linked to this profile of her and it seems she has quite the radical past including living in Cuba which she lauded as a dream come true and organizing the '99 Seattle WTO riots.

Ms. Benjamin then lived for some time in Fidel Castro’s Communist Cuba with her first husband, who was the coach of that country's national basketball team. (Reflecting later on her years in Cuba, she said she had felt "like I died and went to heaven.") Cuban authorities deported Ms. Benjamin, however, after she wrote an anti-government article in the government-run newspaper for which she worked.

No wonder the hefty prescence of Che teeshirts and anarchists at rallies she helps organize. It all fits a pattern at these rallies, do something stupid to get arrested, resist arrest, then cry about police brutality and censoreship to a sympathetic press, repeat. They can't win with their ideas so they act like children pitching a fit to get their way and get noticed, "don't tase me, Bro".
