As part of my research duties, I scour right wing blogs and websites to get somewhat of a “feel” as to what is being talked about on the other side. Much of it is nonsense, but there are some exceptions which give the campaign jitters. A spirited campaign has been made to infiltrate many pro-Hillary sites and discredit them. A more disorganized, but genuine effort has also been made to sow doubts among the unapologetically right wing sites such as redstate.com. Don’t you guys get it? This has been the Obama campaign’s sole strategy from the very beginning! The only way he wins is over a dispirited, disorganized, and demobilized opposition. This is how it has been for all of his campaigns. What surprises me is that everyone has fallen for it. You may point to the polls as proof of the inevitability of all of this. If so, you have fallen for the oldest trick in the book. How did we skew these polls, you might ask? It all starts with the media “buzz” which has been generated over the campaign. Many stories are generated on the powerful Obama ground game, and how many new voters were registered. None of this happens by coincidence. It is all part of the poll-skewing process. This makes pollsters change their mixes to reflect these new voters and tilt the mix more towards Democratic voters. What is not mentioned or reported on is not the “under-reported cell phone users or young voters” we hear so much about. What is underreported is you.

Rashid Khalidi On Obama

How a person of the Jewish faith or sympathetic to the nation of Israel could support Obama is beyond me. He attended an anti-semitic "church" for twenty years and has been endorsed by all of America's and Israel's enemies around the world. That is the only reason the LA Times would not be releasing that tape, it shows Obama at a party with raging anti-semites and toasting one of them,PLO and Yasser Arafat spokesman Rashid Khalidi, before he went to fill the Edward Said chair at Columbia Univ. That is Edward Said sitting to Obama's left.

Obama also helped funnel large amounts of money to Khalidi's through the Woods Fund.

In Chicago in 1995, Mr. Khalidi and his wife Mona founded the Arab American Action Network (AAAN), a group associated with confrontational statements of support for Palestinians and antagonism toward Israel. In 2001 and again in 2002, the Woods Fund of Chicago, with directors [Bill] Ayers and Obama, made grants of $40,000 and $35,000 to the AAAN. Importantly, the AAAN vice-president Ali Abunimah of Electronic Intifada has remembered Mr. Obama's speaking in 1999 against ‘Israeli occupation’ at a charity event for a West Bank refugee camp; and Mr. Abunimah … has also recalled Mr. and Mrs. Obama at a fundraiser held for the then-Congressional candidate Obama in 2000 at Rashid and Mona Khalidi's home, where Mr. Obama made convincing statements in support of the Palestinian cause.”

It seems Senator Obama has been far more comfortable associating with radicals far outside of the American mainstream than with ordinary Americans he considers to be bitter because we love freedom.

PUMA Inside Scoop

The gals over at Hillbuzz, a PUMA site, report they are hearing from Hillary insiders that McCain is poised to take not only Ohio but New Hampshire, Maine, Iowa and Pennsylvania as well. It seems the enthusiasm for Obama is very low in those states, very few signs or bumper stickers and they really like the Palins. Granted I live in a conservative part of California and have seen a few McCain signs I have seen no Obama signs or stickers here either even when I head into Sacramento unlike Kerry stickers and signs that were all over.

My fellow Republicans this thing ain't over yet even the scewed polls are tightening. Another thing to consider is that the PUMAs have been instructing their members for weeks if polled to say they are voting for Obama. They want the Obama people over confidant that they think they have this in the bag and won't show up to vote. Again my thanks to the PUMA blogs as they often do more to lift my spirits than many of the Republican blogs I read. It looks like many of the Reagan Democrats that went back for Clinton are now crossing over again to McCain on the same issues national security and taxes, they have no stomach for an appeasocrat socialist empty suit with ties to terrorists domestic and foreign, Ayers, Dohrn, Khalidi, and Auchi to name just a small handful.

Sarah Palin Dons Blue Jeans And Lets Her Hair Down

This from a rally in North Carolina and she appears to be really having fun on the campaign trail. Like a commenter at Hot Air suggested she and Todd should actually cut some rug during these intro songs. It would be a hoot and the crowd would love it for them to do some boot scootin'. I don't give a rat's ass what the cocktail party elites in the NY/DC beltway think, she is one of us and its about damn time we had one of our own representing us. Since this is the Barnyard I like to call it horse sense conservatism and she has it, something that has been lacking in our government for a very long time.

Yard Sign Vandalism

I have not been able to get any McCain/Palin signs or I would have them up. I do have a sign supporting Yes on 8, a California initiative to protect marriage as between a man and a woman, and it was vandalized last night. I was able to tape it back together though and repost it on my fence. The left just can't stand free speech.

Who Is Barack Obama?

No one seems to really know as most of his records have been tightly locked up so all we have left is to look at is where he came from and the people he chose to associate with. Pamela Gellar has done a yeoman's job of putting a lot of those many puzzle pieces together that make up the enigma that is Obama today starting with the questionable circumstances of his birth through his journey up in Chicago politics and how it all ties together in an intricate web.

It is even questionable that Barack Obama Sr. is really Jrs father through the dubious timeline of his mother's university record and where she attended high school, Washington state and not Hawaii and when her parents moved to Hawaii. The other interesting tidbit is that Obama Jr's features are not those of the typical Luo tribesmen of his supposed father but rather strongly resemble those of another black activist of the '50s and '60s, Pamela has pictures of Obama Sr, Obama Jr and Malcolm X posted for comparison. RIP Dean Barnett

Dang! Dean passed away today after complications brought on by his cystic fibrosis. I only knew Dean through his blogging for Soxblog, Townhall/Hugh Hewitt and finally the Weekly Standard and occasional email exchanges. He always answered them. He knew his disease would one day take him but through his belief in God he did not let it get in the way of his zest for life and determination to live it to its fullest. Dean you will be sorely missed and my prayers go out to your beloved family.

Obama Wants To Redistribute The Wealth Instead Of Rebuilding The Economy

He let it slip to Joe the Plumber that he wanted to "spread the wealth around" by taxing those who already pay the most taxes more to give to those that pay none or little. Now an interview from 2001 has been uncovered where he seems to lament that the courts had not done more to redistribute the wealth as part of the civil rights movement. He named his second book "The Audacity of Hope" after a sermon by Rev. "God Damn America" Wright that contained the words "white folks greed runs a world in need" and in another interview he said that white folks did not want to pay more taxes to help black kids. He loves to talk about how we should all be our brothers keeper but he has not lifted a finger to help his own brother out who lives in a slum in Kenya but he wants to give an additional 850 billion taxpayer dollars to the UN to fight global poverty. The man is a millionaire and he can't send his own brother twenty bucks but he wants us to. Why can't he spread his own wealth around? Via Hot Air where there is a partial transcript posted as well.

An overwhelming majority of Americans oppose wealth redistribution and see it for what it is marxist socialism and they reject it.

Obama wants to invest in schools but when he had his chance as chairman of the Chicago Annenburg Challenge that failed massively. He wasted 150 million dollars and did nothing to help the schools in Chicago improve. He did fund radicals like Bill Ayers and Rev. Wright though that believe schools should be hotbeds for racial and class grievance mongering for social justice and not learning institutions that teach kids the skills needed to actually make it in the real world.

What about the 5.3 million the DNC spent on Obama's styrofoam columns and the lavish set at Invesco field? The Obama camp loves to whine about talking about the issues when the One's creepy friends come up but when it comes to Palin they aren't concerned about what she has accomplished as a Governor, all they care about is her shoes and her wardrobe.

Do Jews Celebrate Halloween? Treif or Treat?

It's that time of the year again. The Jack-o-lanterns, pumpkins, goblins and ghouls gave it away. My least favourite goyish holiday is here again. Halloween is celebrated in Anglo-Saxon countries worldwide and is considered a national holiday. Many Jews unfortunately participate in the Halloween festivities: trick-or-treating, decorating the house and dressing up. So is Halloween kosher?

While many Jews today prefer to focus on the universal aspect of Judaism, tikkun olam, morality, ethics, etc., Judaism demands that Jews remain a separate people. God tells Moses to teach the people:

"I am the Lord, your God. Do not follow the ways of Egypt where you once lived, nor of Canaan to where I am bringing you. Do not follow their customs (be-hukotehem lo teileichu)" (Leviticus 18:1-3, cf. also, 20:23).

Deuteronomy suggests that this prohibition is intended to prevent idolatry:

"Take heed to yourself lest you be trapped by following them, after they are destroyed from before you; and lest you inquire about their gods, saying, 'How did these nations serve their gods?' that I may also do likewise" (Deuteronomy 12:30).

While many halakhic authorities understand these injunctions to be limited to the customs of the Canaanites and Egyptians, the Rambam understands it to be a prohibition of following any non-Jewish rite or ritual. The Torah is warning us against adopting chukat hagoy, gentile customs which will lead us to assimilate. He writes:

"We do not walk after the ways of the idolaters. We do not assimilate ourselves to them; not in our clothing and not in other things like this, as it says, 'do not walk after the ways of the gentiles' (Leviticus 20:23)…Rather, a Jew should be distinct from them and recognizable through one's clothing and one's other actions, just as one is distinct from them in one's thoughts and characteristics" (Laws concerning Idolatry, 11:1).

Halloween, although today it is mostly devoid of religious significance, has pagan and Christian roots. The philosophy behind the festival is idolatrous and antithetical to the Jewish worldview. According to Wikipedia:

"Halloween has its origins in the ancient Celtic festival known as Samhain (Irish pronunciation: [ˈsˠaunʲ]; from the Old Irish samain). The festival of Samhain is a celebration of the end of the harvest season in Gaelic culture, and is sometimes regarded as the "Celtic New Year". Traditionally, the festival was a time used by the ancient pagans to take stock of supplies and slaughter livestock for winter stores. The ancient Gaels believed that on October 31, now known as Halloween, the boundary between the alive and the deceased dissolved, and the dead become dangerous for the living by causing problems such as sickness or damaged crops. The festivals would frequently involve bonfires, into which bones of slaughtered livestock were thrown. Costumes and masks were also worn at the festivals in an attempt to mimic the evil spirits or placate them."

The Catholic Church celebrates Halloween as All Saint's Day and special services are held in churches worldwide. Why would any Jew celebrate a holiday even remotely connected to the Roman Catholic Church? Historically, many pogroms occurred on Halloween. Jews would be kidnapped, murdered or brutalized as part of the celebration, since Jews were associated with evil, the devil and witches.

The pagan worldview in which Halloween took root is completely contrary to Judaism's teachings. There are no ghosts and goblins, heavenly families, satanic adversaries or demons. There is only Him, the One and Only. Halloween, or Samhain, was a worship of nature and the spirits which rules it. Judaism, however, is insistent that all of nature is subservient to Him.

In short, there is nothing kosher about Halloween. It originates in pagan adoration of nature and was eventually appropriated by the Church as a day to celebrate all of their saints, many of whom were virulent anti-semites. In Eastern Europe, Halloween was a time when pogroms usually broke out. Jews weren't able to celebrate the holiday because they were hiding in cellars for their lives. Tainted with paganism, christianity and a bloody history of anti-semitism, Halloween is treif, treif, treif. This year, Halloween falls on erev shabbos, which makes it all the more unkosher. Instead of dressing up to commemorate pagan worship of nature, Jews should celebrate the day which is testimony to G-d's Creation. Ditch the ghosts and pumpkins and switch them for shabbos candles and kiddush.

I certainly won't be answering my door. But if you want to wish me a good shabbos, I'll be ready for your knock.

What The Democrats Have Planned

They are so sure Obama is going to win with runaway Democrat majorities in the House and Senate they have let the cat out of the bag on their plans. They are stunning to say the least. Here is what Barney Frank(D), one of the architects of the financial mess, had to say, thanks to KJ Lopez at The Corner. They want 4 trillion in new spending and they are going to come after your pocketbook, your company's and the deceased to pay for it.

Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) said Democrats will push for a stimulus package after the November election, and called for a package reducing defense spending by 25 percent while saying Congress will "eventually" raise taxes.
Frank told the editorial board of the SouthCoast Standard-Times that he wanted to reduce defense spending by a quarter, meaning the United States would have to withdraw from Iraq sooner.
"The people of Iraq want us out, and we want to stay over their objection," he said. "It's extraordinary."
Frank also said the post-election stimulus package will focus on spending for building projects, extending unemployment benefits, and further supporting states' healthcare costs. "We'll have to raise taxes ultimately," Frank said. "Not now, but eventually." Frank told the Standard-Times that if Democrats cannot secure the votes they need in November, they will try again in January, when they will likely have stronger majorities in the House and Senate.
Frank, the Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, was an instrumental figure in engineering the bailout legislation to the U.S. financial industry, and indicated a new package may seek to ameliorate fears about investing. "The psychological problem is even worse than the real problem," Frank said.

Cutting defense spending by 25% meshes nicely with Obama's plans to unilaterally disarm the US, stop spending on missile defense and not weaponize space while China, Russia and Iran do otherwise. To top that off they want to use that money to create a massive new bureaucracy in DC, a Dept. of Peace, Andy McCarthy reports on that. It sounds like someting Code Pink would like,ugh.

The DC Examiner reminds us that already proposed in the House (HR 808) is the creation of a new, multi-billion dollar, cabinet-level monstrosity: The Department of Peace & Non-Violence. (Thanks to Dr. Andy Bostom for calling this to my attention.)
The DPN-V would house such vital new agencies as The Office of Peace Education & Training, the Office of Domestic Peace Activities, the Office of International Peace Activities, the Office of Technology for Peace, the Office of Arms Control and Disarmament (ACM — notwithstanding that Barnie seems to have that covered already), the Office of Peaceful Co-Existence and Non-Violent Conflict Resolution, and, of course, the Office of Human Rights and Economic Rights. (Emphasis added.)
This, natch, is separate and apart from Wage Insurance (aka "Spreading the Wealth"), Obama's proposed Global Poverty Act (aka Spreading the Wealth to the Globe through the UN), tax relief for oppressed classes such as trial lawyers (aka Spreading More Wealth to Top Democrat Donors); and gasoline subsidies (aka Spreading the Wealth to America's enemies who are hurting now that oil is down to about $60/barrel).

They are also talking about ending 401K plans and instead forcing people into yet another government program that would tale 5% of you income and putting it a government account for you that would return 3% in interest, they have done so well managing Social Security after all.

What Bill Ayers And His Weather Underground Wanted To Do If They Were Successful

Their original intent was to overthrow the US Government and set up a Maoist communist system, ie Red China. For "peaceniks" they sure chose a violent regime to replicate and planned to reducate or eliminate at least 25 million Americans if need be. Confederate Yankee found this video from an '82 documentary of an interview with an FBI informant within the organization.

They were not successful in that effort so many of those radicals took to academia and other influential areas to work from inside the system to indoctrinate the youth over a couple generations into their way of thinking. I guess they decided that the reeducation camps would be our school and university system and they have done well from what I can tell.Outside the sciences the universities don't teach a damn thing useful in the real world.

Meanwhile Zombie the intrepid protest photojournalist has dug up a copy of Bill Ayers' "Prairie Fire", the little red book of the time, basically a communist manifesto for the modern era written as they bombed their way across America. Again this was happening in the '70s and '80s not the '60s as Obama and the ObaMSM like to report. This a must read report of what Zombie discovered complete with plenty of high resolution scans of actual pages from the Weather Underground's Manifesto. This was released in '74 while Obama was being mentored by another communist Frank Marshall Davis.

Obama must be spooked by all this information flooding out as he has sent out at least two campaign letters to Va. voters in an attempt to tamp the story down. His longtime association with Bill Ayers disqualifies him from holding high level security clearances and certainly disqualifies him from being the POTUS. Obama may not agree with Ayers' earlier ideas but he must agree with his education plans since he funded them to the tune of millions while with the Chicago Annenburg Challenge and the Woods Fund while also giving substantial amounts to his pastor Rev. God Damn America Wright's marxist black liberation theology school of thought. Simply put Obama is not the centrist he and the ObaMSM has sought to portray but he is a far left radical that wants to change this nation in a very far left way. That is the change you can believe in.

More Fraud And Violence On Behalf Of Obama

There are two big stories flying around the blogosphere today that the ObaMSM won't tell you about. The first is about how easily it is to make fraudulent donations online to Obama's campaign and the second is another McCain supporter gets robbed and beaten by an Obama supporter. I am not going to go into details on that one but you can find the details at Ace's here and here.

Obma has been stting all kinds of fundraising records since his campaign began raising and spending more than Bush and Kerry did combined in '04. Pamela Gellar at Atlas Shrugs started noting all kinds of funny business as early as July and even the NYT noted some very strange names on his donor lists, like Qwerty. Look at the top alphabet row of your keyboard. So how much of that 650 million he has raked in comes from illegal foreign donations or people giving way over the legal limit in small increments under made up names? There is no way to find out since Obama keeps it all under the table and won't release the records of those that give under $200.

If you have ever purchased anything online with a credit card you know the precautions the merchants go through to make sure that it is you making that purchase. Well those checks don't exist at Obama's site as readers of several blogs proved today by making small donations on their credit cards with bogus names and addresses, Ace of Spades, Hot Air, Powerline and The Corner most notably. This enables Obama to raise untold millions from foreigners and allows others to go way over the Federal limit. It also pumps up his bragged total of "new" donors giving small amounts. Add that to at least two reports of outright credit card ID theft fraud and something very smelly is going on in Chicago.

Wouldn't it be sweet if after Obama loses that he all of a sudden finds himself a couple hundred million in debt and under investigation from credit card companies and the FEC for fraud? He is obviously trying to steal this election by hook and or by crook but hey it is the Chicago way. He is combining donor fraud and voter fraud in the most corrupt campaign ever run outside Chicago, not to mention intimidation and threats of violence if we dare to not elect him. Well I would rather be called a racist than have an inexperienced, radical marxist what ever he looks like leading this country.

Devastating New NRA Ad On Obama's Anti-Gun Votes

If you defend yourself with a gun from a criminal breaking into your home Obama wants to make you the criminal, unreal. Add that to his desire to ban most hunting ammunition and increase taxes on guns and ammo by 500%. It is a fact that states that allow concealed carry have a much lower crime rate than states with the most restrictive gun laws, right now more people are dieing in Chicago and DC than Iraq from gun violence and they have the most restrictive laws in the US. You don't see many home invasion robberies in Texas or Florida where folks have the right to protect themselves and their families. Obama's not going to like this ad but his votes are a matter of public record, via Gateway Pundit.

The ad will play in battleground states: Colorado, Florida, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin, it could be a game changer in those states.Jake Tapper reported on the origins of the votes Obama made against us being able to defend ourselves.

The ad refers to a 2003 incident when a Wilmette, Ill., restaurateur named Hale DeMar shot and wounded a burglar who broke into his house. DeMar was prosecuted by the town of Wilmette, which had, at the time, a ban on the possession of handguns, so some Illinois lawmakers introduced legislation to offer legal protections to individuals who use firearms in self-defense. The bill passed the Illinois state House by a vote of 86-25, and the Illinois state Senate -- where Obama voted against it -- by a vote of 39-20.

I wrote earlier about Obama's back door work with the Woods Fund and the Joyce Foundation to fund anti-gun groups to influence the court system that the 2nd Amendment did not refer to an individual right to keep and bear arms. Obama wants to take away that right no matter what he says otherwise. There is just too much evidence that says he does and that is a fact.

The Case Against Barack Obama

Mary Katherine Ham, and Guy Benson with help from Ed Morrisey have put together a great comprehensive post on the many reasons Obama is not fit to be President with about a dozen videos of Obama in his own words. This is one of the best posts explaining this I have seen but the sad part about it is it only scratches the surface of just how deeply flawed a candidate he is besides his extremely thin resume and lack of accomplishment.

They do hit on many key points, his extreme pro-abortion position, his socialist tax policies, his radical associates, his lack of foreign policy experience and judgement as highlighted by his running mate this weekend, his disdain for middle America, his obsession with playing the race card, and his lack of any accomplishment. Just look at what Obama has proposed in the form of mandatory community service and what his wife has said about what Obama is going to do. The youth of America shouldn't be praising him they should be deathly afraid of him.

In the last few months, I have watched with amazement as you have worked hard to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in the Presidential election. In your public and private utterances you have been pessimistic, downcast, fatalistic and have shown signs of being mentally out of the game.

How easily you forget that compared to Barack Obama, in John McCain you not only have a candidate who was legitimately elected by your party, but you have a better candidate, a better message, and a better connection to Main Street, USA. Despite all this you carry on like the election is over and Barack Obama has already won.

It is sad that compared to the rank and file of the GOP, PUMAs are more steadfast in their belief that an Obama presidency is not inevitable. All over the MSM, in the blogosphere and in conversations with people everywhere, members of the GOP who should still be fighting the good fight are talking like a party that has already lost. Why should this be so?

As the saying goes read the whole thing. It should sting a bit, they are working harder for our candidates than many of us are. Forget what the Beltway pundits are saying since they are more concerned with maintaining their standing with the cocktail crowd than they are with us.

They are ignoring Bill Ayers and the Annenburg Challenge which is Obama's sole claim to executive leadership and a whole host of other shady friends. Here are a few other stories they are ignoring that would be continuous news if he was a Republican that are very important.

Joe the plumber's tax liens is news but Obama's treasurer's isn't.

The McCain's seven houses, condos is news but not the strange way Obama got his with its ties to Tony Rezko and shady bank deals.

Sarah Palin firing a subordinate for good reasons is news but Obama's ethical breaches aren't.

Were Obama staffers directed to vote illegaly in Ohio? Why is his attorney trying to parse the words "permanent resident" and "temporary"? And what about these campaign workers?

Why are his attornies going after those investigating voter fraud? Are they afraid it will lead back to Obama before he can steal the election and then bury it?

Amid reports of illegal donations from foreigners and over limit donations by small amounts from some oddly named folks comes the second report of credit card ID theft giving the max amount to Obama for America keyed in from Chicago.

The NYT has time to troll around Facebook and email teenagers trying to dig up dirt on Cindy McCain but ignores Michelle Obama's many inflammatory remarks and the massive raise she got after her employer got some pork money from Barack.

Lets see we have voter intimidation, and here, voter fraud, credit card fraud, and funny fundraising all coming from the Obama campaign. When will the media, our so called watch dogs, investigate all this instead of going after a private citizen that dared to ask the One a tough question? Presidential Debate Round Three

I hate to say it but John McCain needs to bring his A game tonight and really land some punches on Obama and show America just how bad Obama would be if elected. His ties to Ayers, Rezko and ACORN need to be hit on and tied to the mortgage mess. Obama has even released his talking points to the press long before the debate even takes place and they sound just like what the MSM already parrots.

McCain needs to make clear that Obama teamed with Pelosi and Reid will launch a tax and spend regime that will make the Carter years look like the good old days. They wil grow the welfare state and block oil drilling and nuclear power in favor of pipe dreams of alternative energy that may or may not be viable sometime in the future. If we are in fact we are entering a recession they will go overboard and extend it and put the burden on our children and grandchildren with massive defidit spending while driving jobs and business away with overwhelming taxation. Obama has provided him with plenty of targets to hit and he needs to hit them hard.

If the hits coming to my site today are any indication, 75% on Joe the plumber, then McCain can definately hit the "spread the wealth around" comment from Obama out of the park. We'll see so stay tuned for my usual commentary.

McCain has Obama on the defensive and starting to stutter.

Update: Leadership question. Ayers is about to come up, maybe. Obama is yapping about failed economic policies again when the policies he pushed with ACORN are directly connected to the financial meltdown in the banks.

Obama says he only represented ACORN in moter voter laws and eliminates that he sued Citibank on behalf of ACORN to force them to make the very subprime loans than caused the economic problems we have today.

Another reason Dteroit has not made fuel efficient beer cans is that Americans don't buy them when they get a much better product from Toyota and Honda which have major plants here.

Update: Abortion and SCOTUS: McCain is for constructionists, Obama is for a living constitution. To me this is a very important distinction and issue. Obama thinks abortion including partial birth is a right and should be taxpayer funded.
Obama brings up equal pay when he pays his female staff 75 cents on the dollar compared to his male staff. McCain pays his female staffers more than his male. McCain hits Obama on his abortion votes and his votes against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act, Obama obfuscates.

Update: Education: This is another chance for McCain to hit Obama on Ayers and the CAC and its abject failure. Obama talks about math and science, then why did he turn down those grants from CAC instead for funding afrocentric racial grievance programs in Chicago? Obama is in the pocket of teachers unions and their bureaucracy so his answer is to throw them more money.
The thing is not all kids need to go to college or want to, trade schools are also needed as well as the school of hard work and hard knocks.

Final Round Up: This was the best of the three debates by far, well moderated with some good give and take. I am partisan and biased so I say McCain did very well and easily won. Obama did well but was very shallow and lies about a few things like our economic policies and where we stand at the moment. We are nowhere near the great depression unless he is elected and 75% of the CEOs and a huge nunber of economists say that. Obama was very vague and ran from many of McCain's charges by changinging the subject, change we can believe in. McCain did miss a few opportunities to really clobber Obama but that may have been from lack of time though he did land quite a few solid blows and had Obama on the defense most of the night.

I am sure the Obama partisans will say just the opposite, after all they had the Obama issued talking points this morning.

Actual Voting Fraud In Ohio For Obama

This isn't just the typical fraudulent voter registration that is rampant this year this is out of state voters all registering with the same address and requesting absentee voter forms that have been mailed out. It is time to require voter ID and purple fingers at the polls and a photocopied ID submitted with absentee ballots. This has gone far enough and endangers the very basis of our electoral system of free and fair elections. Democrats love to scream bloody murder about voter disenfranchisement but every fraudulent vote does just that to a legitimate vote. It doesn't seem to bother them though when it cancels out an opposing vote. Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, Barack Obama And Why They Matter

I have written before that while Ayers bombing campaign in the '70s, not the '6os as the press wants you to believe, is important it the most disturbing part is his education philosophy. It has been reported that Obama worked with Ayers on education reform with the Chicago Annenburg Challenge and that Obama attended Wright's radical church for twenty years but how are they all tied together?

Wright's Trinity United teaches a form of afrocentric black liberation theology that blames white western eurocentric capitalist philosophy for all the ills suffered by blacks through history and the superiority of African philosophy. During his time with the CAC as its boards chair Obama siphoned millions of dollars to groups to advance this afrocentric teaching in the schools while turning down proposals to fund traditional science and math programs. As a result these schools became hotbeds for racial grievance mongering more interested in teaching about oppression and celebrating kwanzaa than the skills they need to succeed in the real world.

Stanley Kurtz has his latest installment on his research into the CAC and just where all that money went some $150 million worth and what he has found out should bother all Americans. He ties Obama, Ayers and Wright together in the complex web that is Chicago and racial grievance. That made CIESS an “external partner,” i.e. a community organization linked to a network of schools within the Chicago public system. This network, named the “South Shore African Village Collaborative” was thoroughly “Afrocentric” in orientation. CIESS’s job was to use a combination of teacher-training, curriculum advice, and community involvement to improve academic performance in the schools it worked with. CIESS would continue to receive large Annenberg grants throughout the 1990s.The South Shore African Village Collaborative (SSAVC) was very much a part of the Afrocentric “rites of passage movement,” a fringe education crusade of the 1990s. SSAVC schools featured “African-Centered” curricula built around “rites of passage” ceremonies inspired by the puberty rites found in many African societies. In and of themselves, these ceremonies were harmless. Yet the philosophy that accompanied them was not. On the contrary, it was a carbon-copy of Jeremiah Wright’s worldview.

These folks blame Jews for the slave trade when it was actually run by muslims that sent many millions more Africans to Arab lands than to Europe or the Americas and still practice it today. They blame western civilization for the plights of Africans today though intruth those nations were prospering as colonies untill the European countries pulled out, just look at Zimbabwe today compared to fifty years ago, from breadbasket to basket case. I am sure some Obama troll is going to call me a racist for this post but I have been called a racist for posts that had nothing to do with Africans so it has lost its sting.

The indoctrination has already started with a report that an 8th grade english textbook has a fifteen page section devoted to Obama but nothing on any other candidate. Add that to the chants and childrens choirs singing praises to Obama this is getting really creepy.

From Obama's ACORN A Massive Voter Fraud Tree Grows

Hey it is the Chicago way, vote early and often even if you are dead, don't exist or have filled out dozen's of registration cards in multiple precincts. Obama learned well didn't he? ACORN has swamped officials in all key swing states with over a million new registrations with more than half if not more being proven fraudulent. This is getting extremely serious folks, Obama and his friends at ACORN are trying to subvert the very basis of our republic through outright fraud.

There have been over 50,000 fraudulent cards submitted in Pennsylvania alone and many thousands more in Ohio, Missouri, Minnesota, Florida, North Carolina, etal. I have long been a proponent of having to present a valid ID when voting now maybe we should be dipping our finger in purple ink as well like the Iraqis have to do. The integrity of our electoral system must be preserved, period.

Obama is using every trick he has learned from his communist mentors to try and steal this election and thus the hard earned money of American taxpayers to usher in a new socialist state with him as its new czar and Pelosi and Reid as his parlimentarian henchmen. We CANNOT let this happen!!! I have no desire to live in a banana republic like Venezuela, North Korea or Cuba where the dear leader gets 100% of the vote through fraud and intimidation.

Obama Admits His Marxist Tax Plan

He intends to take more money from those that have been successful and pay the most in taxes already and give it to people who don't pay any taxes. That is marxism pure and simple, welfare through the taxcode. This plumber asks Obama about his taxplan and Obama explains socialism to him, he wants to "spread the wealth" around he says. He wants everyone to be equally poor and dependent on government largess.

Obama wonders why so many jobs go over seas, its because we have the second highest business tax rate in the world. He clearly does not understand how a capitalist economy works and he doesn't understand why socialist ones fail everytime. He clearly believes all that socialist mumbo jumbo he has been hearing from all his socialist/communist buddies all these years about social justice and such.

Here is an easy way to explain it to the young folks that like Obama. Say you go out and mow a few yards for some spending money but I as your father am going to take half of it away from you and give it to your brother who didn't go do some work so he will have an equal amount of spending money. How would that make you feel? Well that is what Obama is proposing, of course the kid who does nothing will love it and the kid who worked hard will hate it. The best thing is to allow the one kid who made the money to offer to let the one who didn't come along next time and help earn it for a portion of the pay. That is how business works and grows and lifts both kids not building up one at the expense of the other.

Obama's Cousin Raila Odinga

Odinga is now the Prime Minister of Kenya by extortion after his supporters staged a bloody uprising when he lost his election bid for President. Odinga is a Marxist educated in communist East Germany and signed a Memorandum of Understanding with islamic leaders in Kenya that he would institute sharia law if elected in return for their support, The violence that occurred after he lost was muslim on Christian ethnic cleansing during which a church was burned down while filled with mostly women and children seeking shelter from the violence. I would say this is even more damning for Obama than the Ayers issue since he campaigned for Odinga as a US Senator. Would this be the kind of foreign leaders he would support should he become President? Is this why he said he would meet with Achmadinejad, Chavez, Castro? Does he actually agree with the way they rule?

Americans that are planning to vote for this guy need to ask themselves some serious questions. I know this won't concern his far left base but it should bother those centrists that have bought into his hope and change spiel but don't really know anything about him.

McCain Ties Obama To ACORN, Voter Fraud And Banking Collapse

Its about time, I hope its not to little to late. Obama is now trying to deny his deep ties to this highly corrupt group even though he was bragging about his work with them not that long ago. I don't know if this will be playing on TV so if you are blogger embed it and if not email it to folks that are still on the fence.

Obama ran Project Vote in'92 in Chicago which is affiliated with ACORN and as a result of its success he ran training seminars for ACORN workers. He also funneled tons of money to them through the Woods Fund and paid them $800,000 earlier this year for get out the vote operations. He also represented them in a motor voter registration case and against CitiBank to force the bank to make sub-prime loans.

ACORN is currently under investigation in a dozen states for voter registration fraud all battleground states. We aren't talking about just a handful of fraudulent cards we are talking about untold thousands in states that could turn by a few hundred votes. Of course this not the ACORN Obama thought he knew, just like Wright, Rezko, Ayers and Dohrn.

CNN actually is doing some real investigative journalism looking into this finally. Cambell Brown tries to spin them as nonpartisan but ACORN has endorsed Obama and they encourage people to register as Democrats.

McCain And RNC Run Ads About Obama And Ayers: Updated

As I have said before I am not so concerned about what Ayers did 40 years ago but what he and Obama have worked together on in the near past education policy and social and criminal justice. Ayers has pushed radical left wing indoctrination policies in the schools as a way to achieve the goals he couldn't with bombs, bringing down our capitalist economic system. This ad touches on it but the McCain team needs to expand on that aspect more very soon.

Obama has arguably known Ayers since his time at Colombia in the late '80s and Obama and his wife both worked for the same law firm as Ayers' wife Bernadine Dohrn. Dohrn had continued her activities with the Weather Underground well into the '80s. The question is has Obama been groomed by all these far left radicals from the '60s to be their ace card on the inside straight? It sure fits Obama's rise through politics as a relative outsider to Chicago's machine when he arrived to where he is today.

This Guy Is Right, We are In Danger Of Being Taken Over By Socialists From Within

From a McCain town hall meeting today, the guy is mad and wants McCain to fight back against the Democrats like Pelosi, Reid, Dodd and Frank not work with them. John wants us to fight for him so he should stand up and fight for us. He needs to start pounding Obama and the Democrats hard and tie them to the financial mess they caused in cohort with their corrupt friends at Fannie and Freddie.

There is a theory going around that the stock market is falling because investors are scared as hell of an Obama/Pelosi/Reid run government and the massive taxation and spending they are going to undertake. 74% of CEOs in a recent survey believe Obama would be horrible for the economy and would bankrupt the country in three years. These are the people that build the economy and create jobs not government welfare handouts. Obama has associated with socialists his entire life and was even a member of the socialist party in Chicago.

From the same town hall meeting, I was hoping this would turn up. I heard it on Rush's show this morning.

LA Times Employs Idiots

Via Ace who has been on a roll today, someone must have put some caffiene in his valurite vodka. An La Times blog , appropriately named the Dish Rag, posted this picture of Sarah Palin with this insane post accompanying it. The reporter obviously knows nothing about guns.

How did Newsweek convince Gov. Sarah Palin to pose with a rifle for its cover?
Simple. It didn't.
Instead, it used an archive (fancy speak for old) stock photo of her taken back in June 2002 and used it for the cover without her knowledge.
However, to the magazine's credit, it did not try to hide the fact that it's a stock photo, even printing circa 2002 on the cover and again referencing the date in editor Jon Meacham's letter entitled "The Palin Problem."
So that makes it OK.

That is a shotgun not a rifle and the breech is open so that is a perfectly safe way to hold it since it can't go off accidently. No wonder the LA Times is sinking faster than a rock, they employ idiots to write about things they know nothing about.

Report From Behind The Scenes Of Both Campaigns

This an interesting take from behind the scenes by CBS reporter, Dean Reynolds, who has been following Obama for most of the time but has now switched over to following McCain around. What he finds is a McCain team that is far better organized and accomodating to the press while the Obama team is unfriendly, unhelpful, very unorganized and the plane literally stinks. The whole report is quotable so I won't cut any snips from it and just send you over there to read it for yourself. I think it says a lot about how the two candidates would run their respective administrations should they be elected.

I am not really surprised because as a military man McCain is known for running a tight clean ship and Obama admitted in an early primary debate that one of his faults is disorganization. McCain also has always enjoyed a friendly banter with the press and voters on the trail while Obama maintains an aloof better than that persona as if he doesn't need to take questions like he and he alone knows better.

Another thing I think is telling about this is that a McCain administration would be open and transparent. Obama though as evidenced by his multiple attempts to obscure or cover up his radical past associations would be a very closed and secretive administration. I have not written about the birth certificate/citizenship scandal because I didn't find it compelling and so many others have. Though the recent court case brought in Berg vs Obama brings something to light about it. Obama dispatched lawyers to get it dismissed instead of just releasing the needed documents that would clear it all up in minutes. Why won't he just release the documents? Just like he is now lying about his connections to Ayers and ACORN not to mention his millions in questionable donations, this all stinks like a rotten onion. As always the cover up is always worse than the truth.

Second Presidential Debate

McCain and Obama face off for the second time tonight in Nashville in a format that should favor McCain as it a town hall style format. This is McCain's favorite form of campaigning and has had hundreds of these events over the years, Obama prefers to speechify from behind his teleprompter and rarely takes questions. Obama is known for often getting tongue tied in the few events like this he has done, McCain relishes the give and take with his audiences, Obama likes to preach to them.

That said McCain needs to deliver a very strong performance tonight that reassures voters he is ready to lead the country through the tough times we may be facing. Obama will be unable to just give his canned answers and if McCain can get under his skin early he could implode into his stuttering inept self. This should be interesting even with the inevitable planted questioners. I will of course be offering commentary and wrap up thoughts as usual.

Update: Obama opens with a lie about the economy, this is not the worst financial downturn since the great depression, its bad yes but not anywhere near that bad. McCain jabs Obama by thanking him for appearing at a joint town hall with him. He has some interesting ideas on how to stabalize the economy. He makes a good point about this being as much a crisis of confidence as it is a crisis of credit. All Obama has are typical lefty talking points and misleads again about giving taxcuts to 95% of the people a tax break, 30% don't pay taxes at all, he means a welfare system from the IRS, redistribute wealth through forced confiscation.

Update: Just as many predicted the first two questions are in the what is the government going to do for me vein. Obama lies about McCain's record on regulating Fannie and Freddie, McCain fought for reform long before Obama wrote a letter about it. Hit him John, hit him. Obama took more money from them than any other Senator besides Chris Dodd.

Update: Obama does not mention why the deficit went up, 9/11, and Katrina/Rita. McCain hits Obama on earmarks and massive new spending programs, how can that help the deficit. Stressing energy production.

Update: Obama talks about going through programs for waste, what he means is slicing and dicing our military budget.
All the questions are coming from a left wing bias that is obvious.
Obama is all typical left wing talking points that mean little.

Update: Obama repeats the use it or lose it mantra about oil leases, they already revert back after ten years and the companies pay billions for those leases and millions more fighting lawsuits and in exploration.
Obama keeps railing about taxing the rich and the corporations that employ people and create new jobs, stupid in a faltering economy. Good McCain is hitting him on it.

Update: Obama's tax plan is so full of BS it makes a dairy farm smell good, he clearly has no basic understanding of economics or what or who creates jobs. Raising taxes on big businesses reduces tax income because they will just leave and go over seas and does not encourage new ones to come here.
Geez every freaking question is so left biased its pathetic. What are you going to do about global warming? There is no fucking global warming it is a scam people. Obama lies again, McCain votes against federal subsidies for alternative fuels not the creation of them.

Update: Obama lies again, AlQaida is not stronger now, they have been greatly weakened and are now largely confined to the border region of the AfPak region, not exactly a developed region with resources to carry out global attacks. We are killing them by the hundreds.

Wrap upi: Like always partisans on both sides will spin this as a win for their candidate. I am a partisan Republican so I think McCain won. I count about a dozen lies or distortions by Obama, mostly on the economy. He needs to paint a dismal picture and present himself as the savior, but he gets so much wrong. He is a tax and spend liberal and that was obvious tonight, he calls it investments but it just new spending that won't deliver a positive return. McCain will cut or reduce spending and I am surprised he did not name names on who caused the financial breakdown we have seen or tie Obama directly to it, big mistake, IMO. The evidence is there and very real and truthful.

Update: Tom Brokaw did an awful job as moderator. The questions sucked big time, hell this bitter biased redneck country boy could do a better job. Two questions I would have asked.
