Sometimes when we are on top of things, We forget how delicate and precarious that may be.
The first picture is from the summit of Mt. Dunderburg(12,374), again with the Yosemite highcountry at my back, beer in hand. The most prominate peak from Bridgeport Ca. with an unreal panorama as it sits away from the main chain of mountains and offers views far up and down the eastern valley. My soul is yearning for the high country, the bliss, the silence, the beauty, the escape from modern madness and strife.
Now I understand the "Goat" handle! Followed you here from Carol's blog. I'm here in Colorado, so I have lots of similar pics...sadly more from the past. Though my boys are big enough now to take up some 14ers, or 13ers (which I prefer because there are fewer sheeple)! Keep up the blogging!
