yes, a beautiful sight. one of my many dreams has always been to have a home at the base of a mountain with stream lazily running through just outside my back door.

then just to sit there as the sun went down and gaze upon the wild animals as they came out for their evening drink from the stream as the trout i had just caught was frying on the wood stove in the kitchen.

Griper, my buddy has a cabin at the base of that mountain with a creek right out the back door full of trout. It is the same mt. rising in the background in the picture on my sidebar. The cabin is in the valley pictured in the footer to this blog.

Unbelievable.

I often tell people that the best thing about growing up on the High Plains of West Texas with NO TREES and NO WATER is that no matter where I go, I am awed at the beauty of God's creation. This would absoulutely leave me speechless. If I lived here....my housework would go UNDONE EVERYDAY.
To God be the glory.......
