Sittin' On The Dock Of The Bay.........

I went down to Perdido Key for the Labor day week end and added tuesday so I would not have to deal with traffic driving home. The beach was absolutely gorgeous and I had it all to myself on Tuesday. This is in the Gulf Islands National Seashore at the tip of the key.





I found this awesome little seafood grill right on Perdido Bay called the Sunset Grill for a reason, great food, a beach atmosphere, paper plates and great sunsets. This is the view from the outdoor dining area.

I was sitting on the dock behind the restaurant enjoying a post dinner cigar and beer waiting for the sunset when the Navy's Blue Angels came roaring out of the sun and flew right over us about five hundred feet off the deck. AWESOME!!!

That is a pretty little cay with a little beach to party on.

I said it is called the Sunset Grill for a reason, the back faces west. Yes folks it is paradise.

Believe me, I didn't want to leave!
