Presidential Debate Round Three

I hate to say it but John McCain needs to bring his A game tonight and really land some punches on Obama and show America just how bad Obama would be if elected. His ties to Ayers, Rezko and ACORN need to be hit on and tied to the mortgage mess. Obama has even released his talking points to the press long before the debate even takes place and they sound just like what the MSM already parrots.

McCain needs to make clear that Obama teamed with Pelosi and Reid will launch a tax and spend regime that will make the Carter years look like the good old days. They wil grow the welfare state and block oil drilling and nuclear power in favor of pipe dreams of alternative energy that may or may not be viable sometime in the future. If we are in fact we are entering a recession they will go overboard and extend it and put the burden on our children and grandchildren with massive defidit spending while driving jobs and business away with overwhelming taxation. Obama has provided him with plenty of targets to hit and he needs to hit them hard.

If the hits coming to my site today are any indication, 75% on Joe the plumber, then McCain can definately hit the "spread the wealth around" comment from Obama out of the park. We'll see so stay tuned for my usual commentary.

Obama brings up his 95% tax cut BS again, it is just welfare through the IRS. He lies about 98% of small businesses make less than 250 g , he is redefining small business. McCain is hitting the Joe the plumber bit hard. Point to McCain but he needs to nail Obama on his faulty numbers.

Update: Question on spending and cuts. Obama obfuscates but the main thing he wants to cut is major defense programs like missile defense. McCain sounds good on spending cuts. Obama keeps running against Bush, McCain hits him on it. Nails him on his votes to raise taxes. Finally he's going after Obama on a number of issues. McCain has Obama on the defensive and starting to stutter.

Update: Leadership question. Ayers is about to come up, maybe. Obama is yapping about failed economic policies again when the policies he pushed with ACORN are directly connected to the financial meltdown in the banks.

Update: Yes McCain brings up Ayers and ACORN. Obama tries to spin the Ayers relationship and the CAC. Obama says he only represented ACORN in moter voter laws and eliminates that he sued Citibank on behalf of ACORN to force them to make the very subprime loans than caused the economic problems we have today.

Update: Energy policy. McCain has a good answer. Obama is typical lefty talking points I have debunked here many times. The reason our auto industry has fallen so far behind is because of the unions' demands, Obama is a protectionist in the pocket of the unions and environuts. McCain is blowing him out tonight with his characteristic fiestyness. Another reason Dteroit has not made fuel efficient beer cans is that Americans don't buy them when they get a much better product from Toyota and Honda which have major plants here.

Update: Health care; Will either address the fact that costs are way up because of trial lawyers suing over nothing and driving up the cost of malpractice insurance? In many areas OBGYNs are leaving the field because of it. Will either mention the crazy mandates that must be covered in all policies in Obama's plans?

Update: Abortion and SCOTUS: McCain is for constructionists, Obama is for a living constitution. To me this is a very important distinction and issue. Obama thinks abortion including partial birth is a right and should be taxpayer funded.
Obama brings up equal pay when he pays his female staff 75 cents on the dollar compared to his male staff. McCain pays his female staffers more than his male. McCain hits Obama on his abortion votes and his votes against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act, Obama obfuscates.

Update: Education: This is another chance for McCain to hit Obama on Ayers and the CAC and its abject failure. Obama talks about math and science, then why did he turn down those grants from CAC instead for funding afrocentric racial grievance programs in Chicago? Obama is in the pocket of teachers unions and their bureaucracy so his answer is to throw them more money.
The thing is not all kids need to go to college or want to, trade schools are also needed as well as the school of hard work and hard knocks.

Final Round Up: This was the best of the three debates by far, well moderated with some good give and take. I am partisan and biased so I say McCain did very well and easily won. Obama did well but was very shallow and lies about a few things like our economic policies and where we stand at the moment. We are nowhere near the great depression unless he is elected and 75% of the CEOs and a huge nunber of economists say that. Obama was very vague and ran from many of McCain's charges by changinging the subject, change we can believe in. McCain did miss a few opportunities to really clobber Obama but that may have been from lack of time though he did land quite a few solid blows and had Obama on the defense most of the night.

I am sure the Obama partisans will say just the opposite, after all they had the Obama issued talking points this morning.

Actual Voting Fraud In Ohio For Obama

This isn't just the typical fraudulent voter registration that is rampant this year this is out of state voters all registering with the same address and requesting absentee voter forms that have been mailed out. It is time to require voter ID and purple fingers at the polls and a photocopied ID submitted with absentee ballots. This has gone far enough and endangers the very basis of our electoral system of free and fair elections. Michelle Malkin has all the details in a comprehensive report on these Obama supporters encouraging outright fraud and even bragging about it.

Democrats love to scream bloody murder about voter disenfranchisement but every fraudulent vote does just that to a legitimate vote. It doesn't seem to bother them though when it cancels out an opposing vote. Their excuse of course is that it just cancels out Republican fraud but their has not been one proven example of that despite the best efforts by left wing rags like the NYT or biased talking head media. The Justice Dept. really needs to look into the activities of these left wing groups doing this and its not just ACORN and throw the book at them if we are ever to have free and fair elections again.

Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, Barack Obama And Why They Matter

I have written before that while Ayers bombing campaign in the '70s, not the '6os as the press wants you to believe, is important it the most disturbing part is his education philosophy. It has been reported that Obama worked with Ayers on education reform with the Chicago Annenburg Challenge and that Obama attended Wright's radical church for twenty years but how are they all tied together?

Wright's Trinity United teaches a form of afrocentric black liberation theology that blames white western eurocentric capitalist philosophy for all the ills suffered by blacks through history and the superiority of African philosophy. During his time with the CAC as its boards chair Obama siphoned millions of dollars to groups to advance this afrocentric teaching in the schools while turning down proposals to fund traditional science and math programs. As a result these schools became hotbeds for racial grievance mongering more interested in teaching about oppression and celebrating kwanzaa than the skills they need to succeed in the real world.

Stanley Kurtz has his latest installment on his research into the CAC and just where all that money went some $150 million worth and what he has found out should bother all Americans. He ties Obama, Ayers and Wright together in the complex web that is Chicago and racial grievance. It is no wonder Obama and his surrogates continue to play the race card, he isn't post-racial he is obsessed with his race and it shows through in his books and even his law school lectures.

In the winter of 1996, the Coalition for Improved Education in [Chicago’s] South Shore (CIESS) announced that it had received a $200,000 grant from the Chicago Annenberg Challenge. That made CIESS an “external partner,” i.e. a community organization linked to a network of schools within the Chicago public system. This network, named the “South Shore African Village Collaborative” was thoroughly “Afrocentric” in orientation. CIESS’s job was to use a combination of teacher-training, curriculum advice, and community involvement to improve academic performance in the schools it worked with. CIESS would continue to receive large Annenberg grants throughout the 1990s.The South Shore African Village Collaborative (SSAVC) was very much a part of the Afrocentric “rites of passage movement,” a fringe education crusade of the 1990s. SSAVC schools featured “African-Centered” curricula built around “rites of passage” ceremonies inspired by the puberty rites found in many African societies. In and of themselves, these ceremonies were harmless. Yet the philosophy that accompanied them was not. On the contrary, it was a carbon-copy of Jeremiah Wright’s worldview.

These folks blame Jews for the slave trade when it was actually run by muslims that sent many millions more Africans to Arab lands than to Europe or the Americas and still practice it today. They blame western civilization for the plights of Africans today though intruth those nations were prospering as colonies untill the European countries pulled out, just look at Zimbabwe today compared to fifty years ago, from breadbasket to basket case. I am sure some Obama troll is going to call me a racist for this post but I have been called a racist for posts that had nothing to do with Africans so it has lost its sting.

The indoctrination has already started with a report that an 8th grade english textbook has a fifteen page section devoted to Obama but nothing on any other candidate. Add that to the chants and childrens choirs singing praises to Obama this is getting really creepy.

From Obama's ACORN A Massive Voter Fraud Tree Grows

Hey it is the Chicago way, vote early and often even if you are dead, don't exist or have filled out dozen's of registration cards in multiple precincts. Obama learned well didn't he? ACORN has swamped officials in all key swing states with over a million new registrations with more than half if not more being proven fraudulent. This is getting extremely serious folks, Obama and his friends at ACORN are trying to subvert the very basis of our republic through outright fraud.

There have been over 50,000 fraudulent cards submitted in Pennsylvania alone and many thousands more in Ohio, Missouri, Minnesota, Florida, North Carolina, etal. I have long been a proponent of having to present a valid ID when voting now maybe we should be dipping our finger in purple ink as well like the Iraqis have to do. The integrity of our electoral system must be preserved, period.

Obama is using every trick he has learned from his communist mentors to try and steal this election and thus the hard earned money of American taxpayers to usher in a new socialist state with him as its new czar and Pelosi and Reid as his parlimentarian henchmen. We CANNOT let this happen!!! I have no desire to live in a banana republic like Venezuela, North Korea or Cuba where the dear leader gets 100% of the vote through fraud and intimidation.

Obama Admits His Marxist Tax Plan

He intends to take more money from those that have been successful and pay the most in taxes already and give it to people who don't pay any taxes. That is marxism pure and simple, welfare through the taxcode. This plumber asks Obama about his taxplan and Obama explains socialism to him, he wants to "spread the wealth" around he says. He wants everyone to be equally poor and dependent on government largess.

Obama wonders why so many jobs go over seas, its because we have the second highest business tax rate in the world. He clearly does not understand how a capitalist economy works and he doesn't understand why socialist ones fail everytime. He clearly believes all that socialist mumbo jumbo he has been hearing from all his socialist/communist buddies all these years about social justice and such.

Here is an easy way to explain it to the young folks that like Obama. Say you go out and mow a few yards for some spending money but I as your father am going to take half of it away from you and give it to your brother who didn't go do some work so he will have an equal amount of spending money. How would that make you feel? Well that is what Obama is proposing, of course the kid who does nothing will love it and the kid who worked hard will hate it. The best thing is to allow the one kid who made the money to offer to let the one who didn't come along next time and help earn it for a portion of the pay. That is how business works and grows and lifts both kids not building up one at the expense of the other.

Obama's Cousin Raila Odinga

Odinga is now the Prime Minister of Kenya by extortion after his supporters staged a bloody uprising when he lost his election bid for President. Odinga is a Marxist educated in communist East Germany and signed a Memorandum of Understanding with islamic leaders in Kenya that he would institute sharia law if elected in return for their support, The violence that occurred after he lost was muslim on Christian ethnic cleansing during which a church was burned down while filled with mostly women and children seeking shelter from the violence. However, he received a tremendous boost when Sen. Barack Obama arrived in Kenya in August 2006 to campaign on his behalf. Mr. Obama denies that supporting Mr. Odinga was the intention of his trip, but his actions and local media reports tell otherwise.

Mr. Odinga and Mr. Obama were nearly inseparable throughout Mr. Obama's six-day stay. The two traveled together throughout Kenya and Mr. Obama spoke on behalf of Mr. Odinga at numerous rallies. In contrast, Mr. Obama had only criticism for Kibaki. He lashed out against the Kenyan government shortly after meeting with the president on Aug. 25. "The [Kenyan] people have to suffer over corruption perpetrated by government officials," Mr. Obama announced.

Is the change we can expect from an Obama administration or what we can expect if he loses. Like I asked yesterday are all of Obama's acquaintances communists, corrupt or just plain sleaze bags? I would say this is even more damning for Obama than the Ayers issue since he campaigned for Odinga as a US Senator. Would this be the kind of foreign leaders he would support should he become President? Is this why he said he would meet with Achmadinejad, Chavez, Castro? Does he actually agree with the way they rule?

Americans that are planning to vote for this guy need to ask themselves some serious questions. I know this won't concern his far left base but it should bother those centrists that have bought into his hope and change spiel but don't really know anything about him.

McCain Ties Obama To ACORN, Voter Fraud And Banking Collapse

Its about time, I hope its not to little to late. Obama is now trying to deny his deep ties to this highly corrupt group even though he was bragging about his work with them not that long ago. I don't know if this will be playing on TV so if you are blogger embed it and if not email it to folks that are still on the fence.

Obama ran Project Vote in'92 in Chicago which is affiliated with ACORN and as a result of its success he ran training seminars for ACORN workers. He also funneled tons of money to them through the Woods Fund and paid them $800,000 earlier this year for get out the vote operations. He also represented them in a motor voter registration case and against CitiBank to force the bank to make sub-prime loans.

ACORN is currently under investigation in a dozen states for voter registration fraud all battleground states. We aren't talking about just a handful of fraudulent cards we are talking about untold thousands in states that could turn by a few hundred votes. Of course this not the ACORN Obama thought he knew, just like Wright, Rezko, Ayers and Dohrn.

CNN actually is doing some real investigative journalism looking into this finally. Cambell Brown tries to spin them as nonpartisan but ACORN has endorsed Obama and they encourage people to register as Democrats.

McCain And RNC Run Ads About Obama And Ayers: Updated

As I have said before I am not so concerned about what Ayers did 40 years ago but what he and Obama have worked together on in the near past education policy and social and criminal justice. Ayers has pushed radical left wing indoctrination policies in the schools as a way to achieve the goals he couldn't with bombs, bringing down our capitalist economic system. This ad touches on it but the McCain team needs to expand on that aspect more very soon.

Obama has arguably known Ayers since his time at Colombia in the late '80s and Obama and his wife both worked for the same law firm as Ayers' wife Bernadine Dohrn. Dohrn had continued her activities with the Weather Underground well into the '80s. The question is has Obama been groomed by all these far left radicals from the '60s to be their ace card on the inside straight? It sure fits Obama's rise through politics as a relative outsider to Chicago's machine when he arrived to where he is today.

This Guy Is Right, We are In Danger Of Being Taken Over By Socialists From Within

From a McCain town hall meeting today, the guy is mad and wants McCain to fight back against the Democrats like Pelosi, Reid, Dodd and Frank not work with them. John wants us to fight for him so he should stand up and fight for us. He needs to start pounding Obama and the Democrats hard and tie them to the financial mess they caused in cohort with their corrupt friends at Fannie and Freddie.

There is a theory going around that the stock market is falling because investors are scared as hell of an Obama/Pelosi/Reid run government and the massive taxation and spending they are going to undertake. 74% of CEOs in a recent survey believe Obama would be horrible for the economy and would bankrupt the country in three years. These are the people that build the economy and create jobs not government welfare handouts. Obama has associated with socialists his entire life and was even a member of the socialist party in Chicago.

From the same town hall meeting, I was hoping this would turn up. I heard it on Rush's show this morning.

I also enjoy it when he has guest hosted for Hugh on his radio show. We need him around for a long time so send your prayers along with mine.

LA Times Employs Idiots

Via Ace who has been on a roll today, someone must have put some caffiene in his valurite vodka. An La Times blog , appropriately named the Dish Rag, posted this picture of Sarah Palin with this insane post accompanying it. The reporter obviously knows nothing about guns.

How did Newsweek convince Gov. Sarah Palin to pose with a rifle for its cover?
Simple. It didn't.
Instead, it used an archive (fancy speak for old) stock photo of her taken back in June 2002 and used it for the cover without her knowledge.
However, to the magazine's credit, it did not try to hide the fact that it's a stock photo, even printing circa 2002 on the cover and again referencing the date in editor Jon Meacham's letter entitled "The Palin Problem."
So that makes it OK.
Right? Or maybe not? What do you think?

That is a shotgun not a rifle and the breech is open so that is a perfectly safe way to hold it since it can't go off accidently. No wonder the LA Times is sinking faster than a rock, they employ idiots to write about things they know nothing about.

Report From Behind The Scenes Of Both Campaigns

This an interesting take from behind the scenes by CBS reporter, Dean Reynolds, who has been following Obama for most of the time but has now switched over to following McCain around. What he finds is a McCain team that is far better organized and accomodating to the press while the Obama team is unfriendly, unhelpful, very unorganized and the plane literally stinks. The whole report is quotable so I won't cut any snips from it and just send you over there to read it for yourself. I think it says a lot about how the two candidates would run their respective administrations should they be elected.

I am not really surprised because as a military man McCain is known for running a tight clean ship and Obama admitted in an early primary debate that one of his faults is disorganization. McCain also has always enjoyed a friendly banter with the press and voters on the trail while Obama maintains an aloof better than that persona as if he doesn't need to take questions like he and he alone knows better.

Another thing I think is telling about this is that a McCain administration would be open and transparent. Obama though as evidenced by his multiple attempts to obscure or cover up his radical past associations would be a very closed and secretive administration. I have not written about the birth certificate/citizenship scandal because I didn't find it compelling and so many others have. Though the recent court case brought in Berg vs Obama brings something to light about it. Obama dispatched lawyers to get it dismissed instead of just releasing the needed documents that would clear it all up in minutes. Why won't he just release the documents? Just like he is now lying about his connections to Ayers and ACORN not to mention his millions in questionable donations, this all stinks like a rotten onion. As always the cover up is always worse than the truth.

Second Presidential Debate

McCain and Obama face off for the second time tonight in Nashville in a format that should favor McCain as it a town hall style format. This is McCain's favorite form of campaigning and has had hundreds of these events over the years, Obama prefers to speechify from behind his teleprompter and rarely takes questions. Obama is known for often getting tongue tied in the few events like this he has done, McCain relishes the give and take with his audiences, Obama likes to preach to them.

That said McCain needs to deliver a very strong performance tonight that reassures voters he is ready to lead the country through the tough times we may be facing. Obama will be unable to just give his canned answers and if McCain can get under his skin early he could implode into his stuttering inept self. This should be interesting even with the inevitable planted questioners. I will of course be offering commentary and wrap up thoughts as usual.

Update: Obama opens with a lie about the economy, this is not the worst financial downturn since the great depression, its bad yes but not anywhere near that bad. McCain jabs Obama by thanking him for appearing at a joint town hall with him. He has some interesting ideas on how to stabalize the economy. He makes a good point about this being as much a crisis of confidence as it is a crisis of credit. All Obama has are typical lefty talking points and misleads again about giving taxcuts to 95% of the people a tax break, 30% don't pay taxes at all, he means a welfare system from the IRS, redistribute wealth through forced confiscation.

Obama lies about McCain's record on regulating Fannie and Freddie, McCain fought for reform long before Obama wrote a letter about it. Hit him John, hit him. Obama took more money from them than any other Senator besides Chris Dodd.

Update: Obama does not mention why the deficit went up, 9/11, and Katrina/Rita. McCain hits Obama on earmarks and massive new spending programs, how can that help the deficit. Stressing energy production.

Update: Obama repeats the use it or lose it mantra about oil leases, they already revert back after ten years and the companies pay billions for those leases and millions more fighting lawsuits and in exploration.
Obama keeps railing about taxing the rich and the corporations that employ people and create new jobs, stupid in a faltering economy. Good McCain is hitting him on it.

Update: Obama's tax plan is so full of BS it makes a dairy farm smell good, he clearly has no basic understanding of economics or what or who creates jobs. Raising taxes on big businesses reduces tax income because they will just leave and go over seas and does not encourage new ones to come here.

Wrap upi: Like always partisans on both sides will spin this as a win for their candidate. I am a partisan Republican so I think McCain won. I count about a dozen lies or distortions by Obama, mostly on the economy. He needs to paint a dismal picture and present himself as the savior, but he gets so much wrong. He is a tax and spend liberal and that was obvious tonight, he calls it investments but it just new spending that won't deliver a positive return. McCain will cut or reduce spending and I am surprised he did not name names on who caused the financial breakdown we have seen or tie Obama directly to it, big mistake, IMO. The evidence is there and very real and truthful.

Senator McCain, who on the Democrat side of the aisle reached out to you or President Bush in your calls for reform of Fannie and Freddie?
