What has happened to it? Are we resigned to the latest sit-com commentary? I hope not! Is television and the internet destroying intrapersonal relations? I don't know as I have met a wide variety of characters and saints on the web. I can say with great honor the vast majority are supporters of the USA.

Television can well be described as one of the opiates of the masses, and it has undoubtedly contributed immensely to the dumbing down of the general public. I suppose the same can well be said for the internet with perhaps an exception of those who polish writing and thinkng skills while blogging.

I try not to watch it, save for the news (Fox) and bits and pieces of CNN.
