Ugly Football

My Crimson Tide managed to make it to 8-0 against Miss. St. always a hard fought game. We lost our starting center to a broken leg in a game fraught with stupid penalties. Oue defense looks great, our offense is suffering after key injuries and it shows. With two possibly three very tough games coming they need to get out of their offensive funk, no touchdowns in two games is not good.

I don't know how Bama's doing it, but now I hope they go undefeated.

I don't like them (back from the Bear days), but I want to see a 3rd undefeated team going into the BCS.......Since UCLA and Va.Tech lost today, Bama's my last chance.

Even better if it's an SEC team again (Auburn last year).

College football needs a playoff, and it will get one if this situation continues to occure year after year.

Speaking of Auburn, this is where my hope will fade......Sorry.

I had to shoot my wife with a tranquilizer dart after the Seminoles lost to the Wolfpack yesterday afternoon...

I am just before forbidding her to watch any more College Football until FSU gets a real Quarterback.

They haven't had one in 6 years...

I WAS SOOO GLAD THAT VT LOST! I can't stand them if you didn't know. I was definitely pulling for Miami. The NC State Wolfpack beat Florida State. Now that's a miracle! I was upset that the UNC Tarheels beat Boston College.... (I don't like the Tarheels either). I did see that The Tide won though. So, that's cool.

Defense is how we are holding on, Bama is famed for its Dee. I hope they can pull the offense together or they will get beat by LSU and Auburn, both brtal rivalries. Many outside donot understand the depth of competition in the SEC, IMO the toughest conference to play in. The rivalries are deep old and fueled by a passionate following unequaled in the US. The recruiting talk starts in January and is hot and heavy and football or Nascar is on the tip of every tongue. I have been pushing for a playoff for 25 years, Pero, as Bama has gotten the shaft more than once due to a brutal conference struggle. I really miss the annual Penn St. game as it was a great national game between the top conferences and always one of the best of the season and important for both teams.
