Polls and Politics

I am somewhat of a politicical junky if you haven't noticed and by my observation the right people are making drastically wrong decisions in both parties and it only hurts the free people around the world and impowers the islamo-fascists.. Ehud Olmert will go down to a no confidence vote in Israel as will his defense minister and hopefully and likely see Ben Netanyahu back to reunite Israel. They know how to fight, will whats left of the west support them or abandon them? Do they not have the right to defend themselves? Dr. Rice and John Bolton have let me down to endorse such a resolution that lets hezbollah exist, disappointment is a little word.
Anyway here is a few quotes courtesy of The Federalist Patriot.
-------

"Rust destroys iron, moths destroy clothes, the worm eats away the wood; but greatest of all evils is envy, impious habitant of corrupt souls, which ever was, is, and shall be a consuming disease." —Menander

"Let no man turn aside, ever so slightly, from the broad path of honor, on the plausible pretence that he is justified by the goodness of his end. All good ends can be worked out by good means." —Charles Dickens

--------
Thursday was a reminder that there are, as George W. Bush has finally taken to calling them, Islamic fascist terrorists who want to kill us and destroy our way of life." —Michael Barone ++ "Wherever they were born, the men who want to blow up airliners, who want to destroy Israel and, not coincidentally, who want to kill all hope of a decent society in Iraq—are Islamo-fascists who are united in hatred of us." —William Shawcross

"Western do-gooders...may occasionally swing by some Third World basket-case and condescend to the natives, but for the most part the multiculti set have no wish to live anywhere but an advanced Western democracy. It's a quintessential piece of leftie humbug. They may think globally, but they don't act on it." —Mark Steyn

"If elected officials were half as imaginative at solving real problems as they are at perpetuating themselves in office, we'd see real confidence in government restored." —John Fund

DEZINFORMATSIA
From the Moral Dyslexia Files: "The willingness to take one's own life—I always tell people, you know, there are guys on our team like that, too." —NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams, apparently equating U.S. military personnel and civilian first responders with terrorist suicide bombers

From the "Leftmedia Nutshell": "We now know that from the very beginning, the Bush administration and its allies in Congress saw the terrorist threat not as a problem to be solved, but as a political opportunity to be exploited. The story of the latest terror plot makes the administration's fecklessness and cynicism on terrorism clearer than ever." —The New York Times' Paul Krugman ++ "And could it just be coincidence that the President finds out about this plot, then his Vice President and the Republican chairman start slamming Democrats for being soft on terror, then the public is informed about the plot? Could it really be just coincidence?" —MSNBC's Keith Olbermann, peddling another wacko conspiracy theory about the timing of terrorist plots

From the "All But Communist" Network: "And what [last week's] plot reminds us is that five years after 9/11, the United States has not eliminated al-Qa'ida. We eliminated Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan in under four years, but five years into this war against al-Qa'ida, they're out there still plotting major attacks against the United States." —ABC News consultant and Clintonista Richard Clarke

This week's "Mad Mullah Sycophant" Award: "I couldn't be happier for the privilege of sitting down with the president of Iran." —CBS's Mike Wallace to Mahmud Ahmadi-Nejad
