Weekend Rambler

My annual exercise of stocking the woodshed, something I have done from a very young age, as always brings thoughts of much simpler times when life was so much better defined but by no means easy. I have cut and split many a round by hand, no power other than muscle and maul stocking a friend's mountain cabin after skiing in and finding the reserves depleted. Wielding an axe and double bucksaw all day makes supper taste unreal and we eat well cooking on a 100 yr old stove. It was the cook's cabin during the goldrush complete with a stone bread oven.
I must say there are time consuming changes going on in my life and for the positive as the pieces are falling neatly into line. I may be a new business owner pretty soon and the circumstances are extremely lucrative. This one of those chances that falls in your lap when you least expected it and I intend to take it and run with everything I am to make it work. I have the reputation, name, location and attitude to make it work. I know how to play the game and losing is not part of my strategy or vernacular.
KarlRove seems to have the same attitude about losing, it ain't in his playbook. He is out on the stump, energized and right on message.

Win the War
Cut the Taxes
Secure the Border
Confirm the Judges
Control Spending

Our economy is booming and thanks to it I should be able to add a new business to that economy if the cards fall my way and they are beyond my wildest dreams. Please don't end the dreams of folks like me by voting for a Democrat or third party, vote Republican and help aspiring small businesses like me achieve our dreams of the American dream. The Democrats want to raise taxes on small family businesses while blocking the big business that brings them business and local developement. Their recipe for change is a socialist disaster, vote Republican.
This is a partisan blog approved by me, the owner, with zero funds provided by the GOP. If they were to send funds I would disclose that, though it would be nice if they did, I am not expecting any such monies.
