It has been like walking into senior year at business school as a journeyman and actually having to study again beyond being casually informed. Launching ACG has been much more involved than the barnyard imagined though I believe taking care of all legal aspects at the very beginning is best since I do original design work. An attorney is a waste of money as the process is simple if lengthy and there are many internet services available, lots and lots of forms to fill out but easy. You are paying the attorney fees to fill out those very simple forms, if you choose that route, that a para-legal route can accomplish as well for much less. Trademark and domain protection are so very important if you do custom work that it is hard to overstate the need for this investment, protecting your brain property is as important as protecting any other property. You can protect your name as well if you are in chatrooms, blogs, etc. under your own name for example, myname.com, my name suxs.com, etc..
Computer programming, business management, contract and business law, tax law, website management, accounting and staying sane over the next couple months is the curriculum. Wish me luck and send your prayers to the Lord for me, I need them.
