Too Easy
The MSM makes it to easy for us to bash them, I wonder if they will learn. Their latest being the inaccurate reporting on the tragic mining accident, the Lord's grace to those involved. Despite my status as a lowly blue state conservative workerbee I seem to be better informed than those that attempt to give me the news. The Sacramento Bee is horrible and I have read a newspaper or two from around the country. I love newspapers, I am an almost daily consumer, less since I became wired to the Internet. I just get my news with less paper involved, thus fewer trees, being a nature freak. I am reading them even less now because of the obvious slant to partisan politics. They haven't gotten a story right in ages, why believe them? Even the venerated AP is coming up short in this age of blogs and webzines. We can scan many editorial pages in minutes with no mess of Macy's ads. I want hard fact checked news, not partisan 'gotcha' games and spin, real news, up to date and honest. I believe in good journalism, a considered career still, a belief that inquiring minds want to know and learn, I am one of those inquiring minds.
I am constantly amazed at the folks I meet online from CEOs to stay at home moms, equally tough jobs. I have met lunatics and modern day philosophers of the first class, wolves, sheepdogs and sheep. The Internet has truelly enabled a national conversation between total strangers, an awesome thing. The ability to interact and converse with hundreds of strangers, think about it, it is an unreal ability, unknown till now.

What amazes me is the fact that the MSM still believes that THEY are, and logically should be THE shapers of public opinion on every subject.
We are supposed to overlook any evidence of bias on their part, and every instance of inaccuracy, and just continue to buy it all, hook, line, and sinker.
You are right. The internet gives everyone access to information from all directions. If you surf around a little every night, you can figure out what really happened for yourself, and find someone to talk about it with as well.
I love the net, I like to know, to be informed about alot of things. I like to be able to discuss it with strangers,openly and honestly, no matter the political bias. To me it is fun, a nerdy hobby, so to speak.
The fiasco in West Virginia was a shameful display of news orgaizations so eager to be the first to get the story out that they depended on inaccurate information and rumors. And all it got them was egg on their faces. Even FOX news got caught this time.

according to his spokesperson reid's not returning the money. i don't know about pelosi. why don't you ask her yourself. and they didn't receive money from abramoff, they received it from his clients (in good faith, i presume). only republicans received money from abramoff.

Oh give me a break, Kevron, yeah more GOP than DNC were involved with Abramhoff but Queen Hillary was just fined 35,000 for campain violations. It is rampant in both parties. IMO "K Street" should be closed down, I don't like lobbyists, politicians should be holding townhalls with their constituents not high paid money changers on golf junkets.

If you consider veiled or unveiled challenges to your intellect as insults depends on your intellect. I guess you I have never observed an English Parlimentarion debate with Tony Blair getting grilled.The NEA gave 65 mill to an assortment of far left PACs, other NGOs and DNC pols. The story is widely available above the sand if you wish to pull your headout. Please offer evidence revoking my accusation as defense to my prosecution. Though I imagine since you said you are discriminatory in your reading you ignore sights that don't support your socialist agenda. When I have offered my sources in the past you chose to call the authors names or ignored the multiple links in my post so why take you as no more than a crank liberal seminar poster. Find out how easy it is to ignore you, enjoy life and happy new year.
You are still free to post Kevron. I just get to read it first. When you can post facts beyond Moveon or Air America talking points you can rejoin the discussion on how to move forward. Taxes, regulation , socialism and union molly coddling are not progress. When you are ready to acknowledge ten quarters of growth and very low unemployment, 4.9%, you are free to comment, unleashed. You challenge me for sources and you offer not one in rebuttal and when you have, they support my argument. Grow up and wipe the smirk off and we can have a conversation , untill then, enjoy cyberspace.
