UN Hiccups

All I can say is "Wow!", Iran and Venuzuela's leaders have given the conservative movement here enough fodder for the next decade in two speeches delivered on our shores. Bingo, that is exactly what America needs to hear, our enemies taunting us and bashing our leader. President Bush did lay the retoric on pretty thick and apparently they heard it loud and clear. Chavez is just another Castro with some oil money to burn. Achmadinajad and the mullahs that run Iran are a totally different story as the recent riots about Benedict's words so dramatically show. Iran's President pretty much said convert or die in his apocalyptic final prayer to a god that is not mine and in my opinion not that of the Bible but of a desert pirate. Hugh Hewitt was all over it so I am sure Generalissimo will have it transcribed at Radio Blogger.

What better gift could the Conservative movement ask for?

I must say, Thank You, to the President for giving the stamd up speech he delivered. I think Sam Adams would be proud. We needed an arrogant 'fighter pilot' speech and we got one.

Contemplate the mangled bodies of your countrymen, and then say, What should be the reward of such sacrifices? Bid us and our posterity bow the knee, supplicate the friendship, and plow, and sow, and reap, to glut the avarice of the men who have let loose on us the dogs of war to riot in our blood and hunt us from the face of the earth? If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude than the animating contest of freedom--go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!--- Samuel Adams
