Killing Black Widows And Splitting Firewood

That's how I spent my day and I'm beat. I finally got to a pile of walnut I've had sitting around for a few months and the black widows had set up housekeeping and got smashed for their efforts. I know to wear gloves and keep my eyes open around here, they are simply too common to ignore. I am not afraid of them but have a healthy respect for them. A local man was bitten on the foot a while back and it practically crippled him. Anyway I managed to get a few days worth of good wood split for the stove and I still have about half the pile to go as well as some olive that still needs to be cut up.

Neither Griper, no wife and no power splitter, I split my wood the old fashioned way, axe, maul and sledge at least I don't have to use a bowsaw to cut it. I actually enjoy splitting wood and have all my life, stress reduction or I am just wierd.

Yes, you are "wierd"...

Trying to get your goat, goat, with comments on Tide but you won't bite--are you scared about Atlanta? You will be. You will be.

Rick, I have no doubt the Gators will be tough to beat but I am sure Saban has been studying them close and will have the Tide ready for them. It will be a classic SEC battle fought in the trenches. I remember when the 'Canes underestimated the Tide and were sent back to Florida with their hot air.
