Wrong Man To Badmouth

Somebody in Huckabee's campaign went after Rush Limbaugh's conservative credentials calling him a Beltway elitist, big oops. Rush only has a gazillion listeners and today he spent the better part of his show beating Huck around the head and shoulders for his liberal policies on everything but life and guns. Hot Air has the audio and Campaign Spot liveblogged it. Rush and the Golden Microphone of EIB is the wrong enemy to make if you are running for a high office in the GOP.
I am also strongly turned off by his using his faith to deflect criticism of his policy positions something Mitt has never done. Besides using Uncle Remus analogies to discuss foriegn policy may just leave him stuck with quite a liberal tarbaby.

Guns and life. Those are two really key issues...
I don't think Rush is a kingmaker.
Although huckacide isn't good for the campaign, is it?

Rush does endorse in the primaries but he will point out strengths and weaknesses. Yea Huck is good on those two issues but weak on economics, security, immigration and the fact he plays the religious card so flagrantly bothers me.

I hear you Goat. But if Fred! can't go the distance, and Huckabee outcharms Romney in the debates, we may be left with him, warts and all.

Rush does not endorse, oops. Eventhough Huckster has fallen behind even Dr, Paul in my tally book he is still a far cry better than any of the Dems and I would "punch" the screen for him next year should he be the nominee.

I wouldn't want Rush made at me.
