Does Anyone Remember Decoration Day Anymore?!?

Growing up in the deep south,it was a yearly family/community reunion.A brief service followed by a potluck picnic and lots of family stories to celebrate the lives of those that had gone before us. With the decline of the hand written letter so many families' histories have been lost that we risk losing so much of the very fabric that makes this great nation so vibrant and strong.My paternal geneology and history is well accounted for,I just spearheaded a historical search into the maternal side with my Mom.I had two uncles in D-Day, one with Patton and two in Korea.This American Family has a story to be told, funny,us hillbilly rednecks have been here alot longer than most,made and defended our nation and established the greatest nation ever.Our thanks is we get to live and prosper here while the socialist idiots continue to try and deprive us of we fought for and built.Yes,I speak for the farmer boy that knew the risk and sacrificed all for the good of the country. One of those uncles went on to work for NASA and was a part of the Apollo program to get us to the moon,I saw Huntsville with a guide,my uncle.This is an incredible nation full of incredible individuals that drive themselves to make it even better.Today the opposition loony left is screeching so loudly it dulls the senses and clouds the thinking of the ignorant. How do we protect against this threat? Talk radio and the blogosphere has done much though we Cannot be shy about standing up for the principles we believe in and as a Constitutional Federalist I won't stand down! to quote Patrick Henry once again as it shows my spirit.

Oh how that rings today with the threat of radical Islam!!!!! Need I say more?
