Dinnertime !?!
The cabin's stove and yes I know how to use it, I bake bread and roast unreal chickens
,a lost art I cherish. It is about 100 yrs old, this was the cooks cabin for the miners and shephards that worked the area. The first hydroelectric dam is located downstream and ran the stampmills in Bodie during the wild west gold days, it is a historic ghost town/museum now.

Thanks for the tip Harry, I'll check them out. That is part of the fun of going up there,is cooking. All cookware is retro as well though we do have a propane eye. Of course we have a fire ring to burn our meat and running a dutch oven. We have truck and cabin camping down to a fine art,I cook better in camp than I do at home,LOL.
