The Swimmin' Hole

Yielded some very fat bigmouths and other panfish, dawn often found me twitching a rapala over known and secret holes. Scrambled eggs and pan fried panfish is one of my favorite breakfasts. The gravy is tasty with biscuits as well . My neighbor gave me some bear meat, my culinary brain is going crazy, grill half and thai stirfry half, I cannot wait to indulge, LOL.

Harry, I didn't mention grits because that is a given in a southern breakfast, shoot, you should know that, of all people. ROFLMAO! Yes I have cow peas and okra in my garden.

Harry, okra loves heat, just give it some good dirt.

Well Harry, I might have to make that a mission, to bring you some fresh okra. It hits 112+ here and is very dry and my okra loves it. Amend your soil to the point of putting down potting soil and set up a good drip irrigation and misting system and you will have plenty of veggies in a small plot. Until LA cut off the water the Owens valley was fairly lush for a high desert.
