Hey, Tommorows Friday!

I like it work is so busy I have little time to blog, anyway, I am Truckee bound in the morning, happy Goat! Harriot Myers just showed the world "Southern Grace", happy and relieved Goat. We just scared the britches off the loonbats as we, as a conservative voice just rocked the boat seriously. The GOP is not cracking it is strengthening it's resolve . The funniest part is I hear the left blaming Dobson and he supported her, ignorant fools they are.

Informal poll question: Will it help or hurt the conservative movement and why? I think it helps as we get to put our message before the people as we get to the essence of the debate. Me, I am a Constitutional Federalist, Confederate. I believe all folks are created equal and the States should be given their full rights granted under our Constitution.

That would include allowing border states to employ their National Guard to control the border regions.

Do you want to show the loonbats what we are made of? Then get off your tail and get involved !!!

Conservatives , Forward, HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!

Help. Completely help with no doubt whatsoever, assuming of course, he nominates a more qualified individual this time.

His poll numbers were going south adn that wasn't a result of the Dems who have always hated him. THAT was the result of fellow conservatives and independent supporters of the president bailing.

Bush has done a very good job of holding this party together to present a united front since he took office. The Miers nomination was the last straw sitting atop the border and spending hay pile. He positively could not 1) allow the party to internally fracture like the dems have and this would hzave happened and 2) have her go out there facing intense consitutional law questions when she has no background in the VERY complicated issue.

Just think about it. What would be more embarassing? Having her go out and be Beavis with incomplete, incoherent or absolutely wrong abswers ala her response to the proportional representation as it refers to the equal amendment clause of the consitution where ALL of the blame would have fallen on Bush, or a graceful withdrawal saving Bush's base who is very happy to be back on his bandwagon.

She wasn't worth it and wasn't qualified. Period. I applaud Bush finally finding his senses.

The Owl--lol can't sleep, slightly wired.

Mediocrity simply will not do.

We reward exellence and achievement in this country and the highest honor a lawyer can receive, when based on said merits, is a nomination to the Supreme Court so PLEASE just give me a strict constructionist, from a top law school, with strong credentials and a background in constitutional law and I wll be happy.

Word has come out that the team in charge of briefing her on constitutional issues was a little dismayed and very unimpressed with her initial replies.

I repeat, you cannot just learn constitutional law in 2 months. Impossible. This would have been like hiring a bankruptcy attorney for a murder case. Night and DAy.
