Wow

I opened my email box this evening to find an interesting and inspiring note from US CentCom about sunday's post. Now it is not everyday an average Joe on the street gets email from CentCom so I opened it with trepidation. It was from a1lt in public affairs for CentCom asking me to link their site in my blogroll, I will and further it by asking my blogger buddies to link it and our readers to bookmark it. Praise from CentCom, WOW, I am just a hard working country Goat and have never served, something I deeply regret so now is my chance to give service to my beloved country. They want to get the good news out and the MSM won't so they are turning to us, the Patriots of this great land unable to carry a gun into battle yet yielding the mighty force of the pen to help get the positive out.

My name is 1 LT Brian Anderson and I am a Public Affairs Officer with US Central Command. I was on your site and noticed that you ran some information about centcom and the letter that we posted. We are trying to get some of the stories out that are not run by the main stream media. Iwould like to ask you to put up a permanent link to centcom.mil so that we can get some of these stories out. Update: We exchanged mails and he is going to send me the hot stories fresh and pure and pointed me toward their weekly newsletter, I am so excited by this my ears are hurting my grin is so wide. Yes, I will help fight the propoganda war and I Thank my blogger buddies for taking up the call to the keyboard. It has always been a war of ideas, just the weapons and battlefield change and centuries have shown the pen to be mightier than the sword. If we are to defeat the Dan Rathers we must provide a concise honest indisputable record as we are held to that standard. For example if one of our GIs does something wrong it gets world press and it the UN commits serial rape and corruption it gets little press.
I see the debate among conservatives as constructive as new ideas are born from actve debate, as it is our rallying cry. The conservative movement continues to grow and the Democrat Party is not conservative as it has become socialist/communist as it seeks the failed Euro-model of being lazy and relying on the US taxpayer to defend them as they have little meams of their own.And Spain can "Basta ma coula" after their latest BS.
