I see that an eight mile long convoy has arrived with relief to NO, and martial law has been put in place. May I point out to the loony left that it was/is the Dem governor's and mayor's responsibility to get the people out and they failed miserably not George Bush, this sits on the loony left's lap no matter how they try to spin it as New Orleans was a bastion of murder and corruption, Two articles to check out here and here, great links. The last time I visited about 12 yrs ago, my vehicle was broken into and I witnessed rampant public displays of gay affection. Liberal PC socialism rot has set into some of our most beautiful and historic cities, Boston, New Orleans, San Francisco,Seattle Portland,etc. The civic leadership needs to realize that socialism does not work , supporting the homeless hardly interests businesses with the prospect of high taxes. In 'Frisco today it is hard to walk a block and not be absconded by a drunk tweeker asking for money,the city gives them $400 bucks a month to urinate in the streets and it smells like it. I did work for the SSA building there, I know the rows of bums lined up for a handout on my tax dollar. I am saying you can't blame the current administration for the failings of the lunatic left that has been in "charge" there for just a few years, decades. NO's mayor spent plenty of time on CBS and apparently very little mobilizing his city, the same goes for blank Blanco.
