With recovery and rebuilding in the south thousands of human interest stories will come out for the local rags and broadcast news beats and the Beltway beat will be hot on the Judicial confirmation battles and trying to blame everything from the extinction of the dinosaurs to poison ivy on President Bush. They must think we are really stupid people out here,LOL. I can hear Boxer and her bloviater in chief Kennedy's retoric now, good grief. Watch for which party is forwarding ideas and solutions not gin fouled hot air, it won't be the DNC as they are torn between an ever louder and angrier loony left base and the more sane centrist realistic voters that support the GWOT, sane taxing, are pro traditional marriage and family and religious Christians. We don't need socialistic feel-good programs, we need an infrastructure and tax code that frees the markets and entreprenurial genius of america. New Orleans' fallout is a perfect example of failed corrupt socialist welfare policies that kept people trapped in poverty and reliant on the public dole. Why improve yourself if the government will pay you to get fat do drugs and lay around watching the boob tube drinking all day while your kids roam the streets doing Lord knows what? That is the rotting gangrenous breakdown of a society that should be far above that. Socialism does not work, look at the failing economies of old Europe and the robust ones of Poland and other former communist bloc nations. Then when you add to that the socially debasing destruction of the hip-hop gangsta culture, you have real problem on your hands.
