Rallys and Protests

Michele Malkin and Paul of Powerline were in D.C. yesterday and have some interesting perspectives, Michele has pictures . I was correct in forcasting the Right side of the New Media is having a field day with the socialist, terror supporting, anti-semite loonbat left drivel I heard screamed at a microphone yesterday. Gateway pundit has commentary as well as more links to pictures. I only saw the tail end of the Pro-Troop rally today, chores had to be done.
On the other hand I heard speeches by "Silky Pony"John Edwards, Sen. Brownback and Gov. Mike Huckabee of Arkansas. Such a contrast in vision, Edwards, the gov't will take care of you vs. Brownback's and Huckabee's forward looking vision of the gov't getting out of the way of the people. I liked Mike Huckabee, down to earth, in touch, comfortable with his message, a possible dark horse. C-span has several things with him , the second video in this link is the one I saw.
This fellow blogger has an interesting take as well.
I may add the conservatives are busy in the Gulf or working for a living ,we can't ride around the country on the tab of millionairs unless it is moving to help those truelly in need. There is to much work to do than go whine in Washington as the left has chosen to do. Imagine if they actually put that effort into some clean up work as the Churches of America have, effort not hand-wringing blame game. How much moldy sheetrock could they remove in the time the screamed at the mike? This was not an anti-war rally persay as much as a socialist/communist platform.
And Karen weathered Rita and has a great post up , as well as William at The Briefing.
