Obama Implies Racism

Via Cap'n Ed is this clip from the same speech I quoted from last night on how us poor hardworking folks are cynical about government wanting to help us, darn straight, I want government to get out of my life, he then goes on to say it is a racist cynicism when it's delivered by a black man.

He also links to this quote from Newt Gingrich that hits the nail on the head.

If you go to the most expensive private school in Hawaii and then move on to Columbia University and Harvard Law School, you may not understand normal Americans. Their beliefs are so alien to your leftwing viewpoint that you have to seek some psychological explanation for what seem to be weird ideas.
They can’t really believe in the right to bear arms.
They can’t really believe in traditional marriage.
They can’t really believe in their faith in God.
They can’t really want to enforce the law on immigration.
Therefore, they must be “bitter” and “frustrated.”
This is the closest Senator Obama has come to openly sharing his wife’s view that “America is a mean country”. Not since Governor Dukakis have we seen anyone so out of touch with normal Americans. It makes perfect sense that it was in a fundraiser in San Francisco that he would have shared the views he has so carefully kept hidden for the entire campaign.

Oh, but he wants to 'rise above' race, doesn't he?
How many times has he initiated a conversation about race lately?
Rise above it?
More like 'be all over it'.

frank family beat me to it - i was going to say the exact same thing!!! great minds and all that...

but seriously, you also have to take into consideration that he deserted by his mother - an atheist - and his father - a bigamist muslim from kenya - and his white grandparents, who took him in and raised him, were supposed racists.

he is a racist. he is bitter. he is frustrated. he doesn't like anyone who doesn't look like him - and wants to shame the rest of us into not voting for him by saying we're racist.

pay no attention to the man behind the curtain... the msm is working hard to ensure that we don't get to see him too much.

Pinky and Heidi, that is going to be the meme the Dems push if Hillary doesn't manage a comeback, that we are racists for rejecting another arrogant, elitist snob.
TFF, your right Kerry fit that mold perfectly as did the silky pony Edwards.

Obamma seems to be doing an end-run around us conservative bloggers and pundits by actually being dumber than we could portray him to be. If he keeps this up, we are going to be obsolete.
