Hell Freezes And Pigs Fly

From Hot Air, things have improved so much in Iraq that even Rep. John Murtha D. had to admit the Surge has worked and bitched that the Iraqi Gov't wasn't getting anything done. How ironic coming from a Dem icon in the do-nothing Congress, Mr. Porker himself. Now he is ready to compromise on that, er, timetable thing after the Iraqis formally asked us to stay. We are negotiating security and trading partnerships and formalizing our relations with a sovereign Iraqi government, in other words this battle for Iraq is quietly being won and is coming to an end.
Iraq is fully poised to become the Arab tiger economically speaking very quickly, and its neighbors are starting to realize this as well as relations are being formalized with many and Embassies are opening. Clean up and rebuilding brings jobs and money, though there is no formal agreement on oil sharing in Parliament the money is starting to flow as security improves and corruption is lessened. We had to find out who to get the money to for neighborhood projects, who were the trustworthy local leaders, and it took time to figure out in a war zone.
The hot war is over as the Iraqi Security Forces clean up the last cells of AQ and Mahdi Army gangs. Our valiant Forces will be able to start rolling back its forces to support and training slowly and surely as the Iraqis are able to take over. Yes folks it looks to be a Merry Christmas season.

It's nice to hear someone say something positive about Iraq. This is the truth that needs to be heard about what's going on.

Things looking up in Iraq sort of puts the Dems in a bind, doesn't it? Poor babies! :)
