Something To Think About

John McCain is about 4mil in debt and Obama raised 32 mil in January alone and McCain will get little money from the GOP base or anybody else for that matter. McCain is taking taxpayer money in matching funds from the government, Obama isn't and both he and Hillary and Mitt are on the air here in California. The grassroots base of the GOP can't stand McCain and will not open their wallets for him. Mitt has outraised all the other GOP candidates in donations , McCain has to rely on the taxpayers and not the profit makers he so despises.

"...the beginning of the end..."? I'm not ready to give up the ship just yet, and if the Dem's do manage to win in the general election, I still won't be ready to give up. I'll just have a very hard time following my own rules regarding being respectful to a sitting president! Wow! Is that going to be a challenge or what?

Yeah, but John Boy's a 'fiscal Conservative', Goat... didn't you hear what you've been told?

Gayle, after Tuesday I'm afraid there's going to be nothing remaining but Dem's running for the Oval, paint job be damned.

DI, it ain't over till its over, Mitt still has a chance even after Tuesday as only about half the delegates will have been selected and Mitt does have some momentum as conservatives are waking up the thought of Maverick McCamnesty in the Whitehouse.

I am opening my wallet for Romney!
I am wearing my Romney shirt.
I have my Ronney fo President yard sign up.
I have my Romney '08 bumpers sticker.
I have my pro-Romney blog articles and my anti-McCain articles.
I am telling everybody I know about why Romney is better for America than McCain.
I have even convinced my dad, a long time McCain fan to change his mind. YES! That is an accomplishment.
I am motivating people to vote.
I will not give up. Super Tuesday is days away and I am pushing Romney's message to Oklahoma.

Romney is weak and will be unable to win a war. He is trying to buy the presidency with his own money. You degrade McCain for not having the money but yet he is still ahead in support. McCain spent 5 years in the Hanoi Hilton and Romney couldn't spend 5 days without room service. McCain is not a dream candidate for conservatives but he is still far more truthful on a consistent basis as his polls have always shown him the most honest on both sides of the aisle. He is a realist that realizes that there must be give and take in order to get things done. He also has the best chance of standing up to anyone in the senate on both sides and tell them enough earmarks and special interests. He may not be the most conservative but he does have the greatest potential to get the most done.

TFF you are entitled to your opinion, it is what McCain would get done that bothers us, amnesty for illegals, over regulation of business and energy production based on unproven science, etc. I admire his patriotism and guts but spending five years as a POW does not qualify him to be president. He is a fighter for sure that seems to fight for the Dems more than he does his own party. As for honesty, his straight talk has more curves than the Playboy Mansion. He has continuosly lied about Mitt's support of the surge, he lies about not voting to raise taxes when the record shows differently fifty times. He has spun like a windmill in a hurricane when illegal immigration comes up saying its not amnesty while allowing 20 million folks to stay here indefinately. He lies when he says he did not support a benchmarhs or timetables when the record shows otherwise. He lies when he says he did not consider changing parties after his '00 loss and again in '04 when he discussed running with John Kerry while denouncing the Swiftboat vets that have yet to be disproven. He lied about Bush using dirty tactics in SC in '00, no proof of attacks. He is more concerned about being loved by the Democrats and the MSM than he is by members of his own party. He curses us and calls us names when we don't bow down to his wishes. Not to mention his involvement with the Keating 5. He has nine months if he wins the nomination to convince me otherwise.
Exactly on what basis do you have to call Mitt weak? You do not know how Mitt would have reacted had he been a POW. I would imagine his deep personal faith would have carried him through just fine.
