Why Barack Obama Will Not Win In November

Nobody thought he had a chance against the Clinton machine so nobody paid him a second thought but now that he has done the unthinkable by destroying the Clintons the scrutiny is coming and it is juicy. The vast right wing conspiracy has shifted its potent gaze to the Obamas and is discovering many ties to '60s radical communist terrorists, the Weather Underground and Black Panthers, not to mention his race identity church run by Lawrence Wright and
his ties to Louis Farrakan. Barack Obama is a very far left radical socialist hidden behind pretty words of hope and change that has tapped into the far left fever on university campuses across America. Barack is a decent person with a pretty family and upscale life but his assosiations and mentors of his political philosophy are surely suspect as to what we could expect of him as leader of the free world. We can surely attack him on appeasement and surrender to radical Islam and his willingness to throw Israel under the bus to appease his friends in Damascus and Tehran. The man is an incredibly weak candidate that will be easy to take out should he beat Hillary and the collapse of the Democrat party is coming.
John McCain may be the best person at this time to punch those radicals in the nose though it does pain me to admit it. The left wing hit machine MSM will have a much harder time targeting him as the blowback against the NYT hitpiece has shown. We can beat Obama or Clinton or both but not if we sit on our hands.

One thing a politician doesn't want to do is peak to soon and Obamania seems so fadlike that I suspect there will be a serious case of buyers' remorse next fall.

And here I'd thought I knew enough reasons why Obama would be better classified an enemy of the state than a Presidential candidate.

There is one more reason the mutt won't get elected: While I have little use for McCain, running against him in the general election would be, for Obama, like bringing the proverbial knife to a gun fight.

Note to all:

Read "Shadow Warriors" by Kenneth Timmerman. Find out what the _real_ battle in D.C. is about...

Shop Rat, yep BO is the latest party scene for college kids and it will fade as fast as the many one hit wonders of pop-land.
Seth, I am not a big fan of McCain either but he is our battle-tested warrior this time around and is generally well liked outside of conservative political junky circles a major advantage this cycle.
Gayle, I hope and pray I am correct too.
Suek, isn't that book about the CIA, I have seen a couple reviews but I read so much I get confused at times.

It's partially about the CIA - in fact, that's probably the nub of it, but it's so intermixed with State and the Dems in Congress that it's hard to really say it's just about CIA. If it were just about CIA, it would be solely about intel failures, but this is more about putting people in places where they can do the most damage to the president.
For a not so serious example, look at the McCain finanace question. He may have broken the rules. It should be reviewed by the FEC. It can't be reviewed by the FEC because the FEC doesn't have a quorum. The reason it doesn't have a quorum is because Obama has put a hold on (forgot name) who is Bush's nominee to the board. The Repubs insist on an up and down for all 4 nominees. Two are neutrals, one is a Reid pick. The Dems want to accept these 3 and fight about Bush's choice. This is what has happened all the way along - the Senate won't confirm Bush's nominees - they want Dem picks in critical places. Some of the nominees have been critical because of the war, but the dems continue to stall.
Carl Levin is one of the worst. Who pays attention to him? but he's a major planner in the effort.

Some of this stuff is just the way one party can stall another when the sides are almost even. Some of it is downright dirty. I don't know what we can do to change anything, but at least we need to be aware - so we can target people.

I can't tell you how angry this book has made me...

I receive the Gingrich newsletter weekly. I received this this am, and thought it was worth passing on(partial copy and paste job):

"Speaker Pelosi, Speaker O'Neill and the Censoring of Dissent

Speaker Pelosi and the House Democratic leadership must be feeling the heat.

House Republicans have challenged Pelosi and the Democratic leadership to live up to their campaign promises to reform the appropriations process by supporting an immediate moratorium on earmarks and enacting tough new ethical guidelines to prevent the use of taxpayer money to favor the election chances of incumbents.

As part of this effort, Republican Leader John Boehner (Ohio) launched a website, earmarkreform.house.gov, which served as a hub for information about Republicans' efforts to fix the broken appropriations process and to shine a light on the unethical earmarking practices of the majority. Now, Boehner is being forced to take down the website by the Office of the House Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Daniel Beard, a position Beard assumed with the support of Speaker Pelosi and the House Democratic Leadership.

The decision was a dramatic reversal on the part of the Office of the CAO, and its timing is suspect. Boehner received approval from the CAO for the website in August. However, it was not launched until earlier this month. Suddenly, just when their efforts were gaining traction, Beard's office reversed its position, now claiming the site is against House Rules.

Leader Boehner is refusing to take down the site without a fuller explanation of why the site is allegedly violating House rules and an accounting of why this new decision was reached. You can read more at earmarkreform.house.gov (at least temporarily) or at Boehner's website.
