Ahnuld Smacks Down a Snippy Reporter
She kept trying to get the Governater to say he didn't have enough resources to fight the fires. I have to say I am impressed at how smoothly the evacuations and shelters are being run. Unfortunately/fortunately in the land of firestorms and earthquakes our First Responders get plenty of practice at it and are amazingly good at it. The people knew what to do as a precaution to living where they do, they knew where to go and were prepared, neighbor helping neighbor no squabbling or whining just doing what needs to be done.Hattip: Matt Lewis

i'm not, lately, a huge fan of arnie's but i have to give him credit on this one. the guard is doing their part, as are the feds.
this response is no different than what the msm and the dems tried to portray with the floods in kansas earlier this year. disgusting, but not necessarily surprising.
Arnie has his good and bad sides, he is a get it done, take charge type of Gov., though, when the situation calls for it. He is down there taking charge not sitting in Sacramento whining for the Feds to do something or that they aren't doing enough. Our Lt. Gov. is a joke though, he's whining to the press about Bush and the War and Global Warming.
