The Peanut Farmer Eats Another Goober

From Bottom Line Up Front, peanut head Jimmy Carter speaks, sad to say he was elected President. He seems to favor dictocrats like Chavez and Castro more than America.

I was raised a Democrat.

Carter's presidency was responsible for my bidding the Democratic Party hasta la bye bye and never looking back, from my first vote for Reagan to the present day.

Carter's single term will be a mere fly speck in the annals of Presidential history, except when references are made to the Tehran hostage crisis and the failed rescue attempt he presided over, so he's been busting his six worldwide, trying to go down in history as something other than the picayune entity he actually is.

Carter is also the one who turned me into a Republican. Regarding this video, I always feel like I need a shower after I listen to him, and I have a strong urge to throw every peanut in the house in the garbage! I stifle it because my husband loves peanuts. I like them disguised as peanutbutter. :)

I was in my teens during the Carter years but I can see now how he had really screwed things up. I was an independant untill 9/11 and saw soon after that the Dems were spineless socialists. I have voted the conservative line since.

I used to think Carter was a good-intentioned idiot, now I skip the "good-intentioned" part.

carter is trying desperately to make some sort of name for himself - i think he believes he can erase the hostage situation and failed rescue attempt by doing so.

he was not a defender of the united states when he was in office - as evidenced by the whole shah debacle - not sure why we would expect him to be one now. cripes, i bet he's never even read the constitution.

Wow, these are pretty astounding comments! Particularly from the Democrats turned Republicans because of him.

I remember well the disaster of his presidency and I guess he thinks he's speaking to college kids who were infants when he was President and won't remember history. Too bad, there are those of out there that lived through the horror and are now telling about it.

Carter was a disappointment as a president and a cruel joke as an ex-president.
