Our Energy Future

That is the Rancho Seco nuclear power plant that now sits dormant just south of Sacramento with the Crystal Range, Tahoe, in the background and those are grapevines growing in the foreground. This is our electricity energy future folks, it is the cleanest and most efficient source there is and with French, yes French, recycling technology ten years of reliable energy boils down to a cup's worth of waste.
I am personnally not a fan of wind or hydrodynamic energy production, wind farms are ugly and unreliable and we we have dammed every river we can. I am a sportsman and conservationist that despises pollution whose license fees pay for much of the conservation. The way I see it is a healthy environment means more healthy game to eat.
I would rather see our coal being turned into an alternative to diesel fuel than being burned to produce electricity like South Africa is doing and has been for years, natural gas should also go to transportation and nuclear power is the answer for electricity.

Good morning, Goat. Obviously I'm back. Did you even know I was gone? LOL!

Wind farms are ugly? Actually, I rather like the look of them. I don't know why. Possibly because they stand there so sentinel like and look a bit futuristic. Go figure! Taste is a very personal thing.

I agree that we need to have a healthy environment. We have a long way to go!
