Bringing Light To The World

This has to be the best write up I have seen on His Hopeness's trip abroad. What a brilliant satirical slam on the Obamassiah and his disciples in the US press corps. Gerard Baker is at his best in the Times of London, do read the whole thing and here is a snip to whet your appetite.

And it came to pass, in the eighth year of the reign of the evil Bush the Younger (The Ignorant), when the whole land from the Arabian desert to the shores of the Great Lakes had been laid barren, that a Child appeared in the wilderness.

The Child was blessed in looks and intellect. Scion of a simple family, offspring of a miraculous union, grandson of a typical white person and an African peasant. And yea, as he grew, the Child walked in the path of righteousness, with only the occasional detour into the odd weed and a little blow.

Obama is running around the world acting like he believes all his own hype and he is already POTUS or destined to be, heck he has not even gotten the official nomination yet from the DNC or been elected. Obama has indeed replaced gravitas with presumptuous arrogance and Baker nails it.

Related Sidenote: The Campaign Spot has a short round up of some of Obama's gaffes misstatements and refuses to answer from the week.
Gateway Pundit has more on how the Israelis viewed him and the kerfuffle over his failure to visit the wounded soldiers at Landstuhl, he couldn't bring the press with him.

Barack Obama appears to suffer from megalomania, from narcissist personality disorder.

As for your hede re: "Bringing light to the world": I know it's fashionable to write these headlines, inferring though tongue-in-cheek, that Obama is a messiah--though he's usually referred to as "the Messiah"--because people think it mocks him.

It doesn't. He's too in love with himself. It only feeds his emotional/psychological sickness.

But it does mock and really blaspheme Jesus the Christ, of whom Obama falsely says he's a devout follower. He can't be, for at least his stance on abortion and his stance on homosexual marriages. And his lying.

For lots and lots and lots of us, mocking the Christ is insulting and painful. It's something that the world cannot and will not understand.

If he were the Christian he claims to be--and not the CINO, Christian in name only, if even that--he would've spoken out against this long, long ago.

But, he cannot because he doesn't understand spiritually what's happening--at least, he doesn't understand from a Christian perspective--and his apparent psychological pathology prevents him.

CKA, I understand what you are saying and I am a devoted Christian but I don't think of satire mocking Obama and the way his sycophants act is blasphemous. We are not mocking Christ and I believe He would know that. I agree that Obama seems to have some serious delusions about his abilities and that its all about him. His whole campaign reeks of it and it makes me sick. He believes he is the One to change the world, and he is not.
