Sarah Palin's Big Night: Updated

I can't wait for the speeches tonight from Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney, Rudy Giulliani and of course Sarah Palin. I expect they will all give excellent speeches with Mike, Mitt and Rudy really bringing big slabs of juicy red meat. Sarah will define herself and her vision for the future which is all she really needs to do at this point. This is her chance to introduce herself to a Nation that doesn't really know her yet and I am sure she will make plenty of fans across the heartland. This is one very capable woman that will win over hearts and minds across a broad spectrum of Americans. Alaska's people adore her except those that in the way of her anti-corruption trail blazing reforms.
An Alaskan writing for the American thinker describes her as a wolverine, completely unafraid to take on any opponent no matter how big. Do go read the piece because it descibes how successful she was taking on corruption and the good ole boy network in Alaskan polics. She is unfazed by negative press is a lot like Reagan in that she speaks around and over them directly to the people she is elected to serve. I think the left is making a serious mistake in underestimating this charismatic dynamo in their thinking that they can reduce her into a quivering sobbing mess, they will instead be reduced to a rug on her office's floor. She took down a sitting Governor and beat a former Governor and then really got things done when she took office.
I am very proud to have this remarkable woman in our Party and even prouder to be able to vote for her and John McCain in November and I have zero worries that she will not justify that pride.

Update: Matt Lewis has a few excerpts from Sarah Palin's speech tonight and believe me she is going to bring the roof down. Here is one chunkk of red meat to chew on as we await her moment in the spotlight.

"I’m not a member of the permanent political establishment. And I’ve learned quickly, these past few days, that if you’re not a member in good standing of the Washington elite, then some in the media consider a candidate unqualified for that reason alone. But here’s a little news flash for all those reporters and commentators: I’m not going to Washington to seek their good opinion - I’m going to Washington to serve the people of this country."

Like I said she is the second coming of Reagan.

Update: Not only did Sarah Palin deliver but she gave one of the best speeches I have ever seen. She is pure dynamite. She electrified the crowd in many ways and those little fish on the Democrat side need to watch out there is a Sarah barracuda trailing them. I mean triple WOW, I was expecting a good speech but she exceeded even my high expectations by far more than I could ever have imagined. This gal is going to rock America like no other politician in history on par with Ronald Reagan. She is simply AWESOME!!!!!!!!

Not so fast my ALabama Nobama friend!

Sarah is outstanding, maybe even awesome, but she's not THAT good! You got carried away in the moment...

My idea is that barry's ray of light that is going to shine down from "somewhere" is going to bend away from Lord Obama and shine on this Hot Mess in a hurry.

And America WILL fall in love with her.

Let's flip the ticket and put her on top...

OK,OK let's all come back down to earth.

The denomic MSM is going to try to crush her. We need to stand fast, no matter WHAT comes out!! She's not perfect, but her mind and heart are right.

And Obama and Biden and their minions are not on our side. Not on America's side. They haste us and what we stand for. They want to change us into something grotesque and meaningless.

Maverick and the Barracuda!!!

Go Gators!!

I doubt the fems and libs are going to be celebrating her. That's because Sarah is a conservative. Only liberal women are allowed to succeed, you know!

Sarah's speech last night was awesome, Goat. She had grace, style and wit, and proved she is going to be able to handle any debate with anyone. At least that's the way I saw it. I doubt she will let anyone or anything intimidate her. I can barely stand to wait until the second of October to hear her debate Biden. This is getting better and better! :)

I have to say I am impressed with Palin and disgusted with the leftist media.
