This article by Marc Sheppard is very disturbing, schools have been a favorite targets of Islamic terrorists for years and busses are one of their main weapons, Beslan is just one of hundreds of examples. There have been dry runs recently, and thefts of school busses and bus radios. Parents is your school district safe and prepared?!?
While Democrats prepare witless campaign slogans blaming Republicans for millions of children not protected by health insurance, al Qaeda's blatant threat to exterminate 2 million American kids remains unheeded. And it will likely continue to be, notwithstanding mounting evidence that there exists no peril on Earth our young need greater protection from today than merciless jihadist monsters.
Not lack of a national insurance plan. Not global warming. Not racial or cultural disparities. Not even the Patriot Act, any of its overplayed incursions into individual liberties, or any of the other countless silly and diaphanous liberal causes célèbres, but rather that which would abruptly and savagely end their innocent short lives.

Yea Democrats are good at witless and rhetorical nonsense. Like what good is health insurance if Mohamad is cutting one's head off while chanting alah akbar. Seems to be like putting the cart before the horse if you ask me.

Goat, Thanks for the heads up on your post on Al-Qaeda targeting our school children. It's definitely not off-topic. It should be conversation in every household with emergency plans made by every family with school age children or loved ones.

That it didn't make headline news during President Tom's propaganda travel mockumentary filming is beyond me.
T said that this hasn't made headline news and he's right. I haven't heard a thing about this before now. This is so incomprehensible to me! Not the fact they are willing to kill our children, but the fact that the media isn't reporting it.

Gayle, I had seen bits and pieces several different places, this was the first I had seen tie so much together. I sent it to my Sister, she and our Mom will make sure my Niece's school developes a plan.
Mom was Head of the PTA when I was in Elem. and was hired as the Principal'a sec. She knows her way around a schoolboard, grin.
That is why the Liberals fear me is that I can almost guess what their next remark or comment is going to be before that say it. LOL
