Who/What Is Mahmoud Ahmadinejad? Bumped

Amile Imani writing for the American Thinker has an important must read posted today examining that question. He is not unhinged but totally hinged to his extremist view of Shia Islam.

There is nothing really "unhinged" about Ahamadinejad's thinking, statements and actions. They are internally consistent. He is simply a fanatic who is wedded to an extremely dangerous exclusionary system of belief. Humanity must learn that dismissing him as alunatic will result in great suffering, as it did with Hitler.

Tragically, Ahmadinejad is the embodiment of several million people who are hinged exactly like him and who are willing to give their lives, and take with them as many lives as required in the service of their belief. In this age of Weapons of Mass Destruction a man with huge sums of petrodollars can serve as the catalyst of total annihilation.
Prudence would err on the side of being an alarmist than a complacent dismissive.

Ahmadinejad and his ilk are not interested in any negotiation, any compromise or any live-and-let-live final solution. They are determined to be the soldiers of Mahdi come-what-may. They have no problem with the total destruction of the world. They are headed for a life of eternal bliss in Allah's paradise. They hardly care, even rejoice, if the rest of humanity is subjected to a tragic death in the nuclear, biological and chemical wasteland of planet earth.
Humanity cannot afford and must not ignore the emergence of the final threat to its very existence on this planet.

Read the whole article, Imani lays it out very clearly.

Folks we have to take this guy very seriously!

He's still a lunatic. The problem is not a question of his sanity but ours in how we treat the insane... the dismissal part of it. People forget what insane people are capable of doing. Hitler was insane; a schizophrenic, iirc. Teb Bundy, Jim Jones, Charles Manson, et.al.

Insanity does not mean they're stupid but people tend to treat them as if they are.

I think he is a lunatic that should be watched very carefully, blog fodder.

To dismiss him as insane doesn't change the fact that millions believe that he is perfectly sane and that he is building a bomb for a nuclear holocaust.

No argument here Bar, I know what that monster gnome wants.

"Monster gnome"! LOL! I like it. :)

Amile Imani has nailed it! Ahmadinejad lies to the west constantly and far to many people swallow his lies. He doesn't have any problem with the total destruction of the world and the sooner people understand that the better off all of us will be. For him to have been able to speak at any college in this country is an abomination! There is nothing in our constitution that says we must give murderous thug dictators a voice.

For a bit (just a bit, mind you) I thought that perhaps it was a good thing after all. Perhaps now more people would understand who he really is. But since then the Iranian people have been fed a load of crapola regarding his visit here, and it's done far more damage than good.

We'll see Gayle, as VDH likes to put it, where and how big the ripples will be. Many Iranians will get the straight Western uncut version, the Persions aren't as backwards as many would think.
Plus he has fewer friends in the ME than he thinks he does.

That is so true goat, he does have fewer friends in the ME than he thinks he does. But look at the nutcase comment that Barack Obama bin Laden said about bombing and hitting Pakistan that was really bright go hit our allie. The liberals don't get it not one little bit.

Just educate your readers and friends Phil, its all we really can do.
