Ann Coulter Endorses Romney

This is a big boost to Mitt's conservative credentials, Ann may actually be able to pull in some wayward voters to the fold. She's onto something when the MSM fawn all over McCain and Huckabee and loath Mitt it means they are afraid of him and know they won't be able to shred him if he gets the nomination. They will turn on Huck and McCain in a New York minute should they get the ticket and feed them to the wolves. Mitt is so squeaky clean the only thing they have to hit him with is the Mormon thing and that won't work as Mitt does well among Evangelical Christians and those that wouldn't vote for a Mormon probably wouldn't vote for a Republican anyway since we know how tolerant the left is to religious people.

Assuming any actual Republicans are voting for McCain -- or for liberals' new favorite candidate for us, Mike Huckabee -- this column is for you.

I've been casually taking swipes at Mitt Romney for the past year based on the assumption that, in the end, Republicans would choose him as our nominee. My thinking was that Romney would be our nominee because he is manifestly the best candidate.

I had no idea that Republican voters in Iowa and New Hampshire planned to do absolutely zero research on the candidates and vote on the basis of random impulses.

Dear Republicans: Please do one-tenth as much research before casting a vote in a presidential election as you do before buying a new car.

One clue that Romney is our strongest candidate is the fact that Democrats keep viciously attacking him while expressing their deep respect for Mike Huckabee and John McCain.

This point was already extensively covered in Chapter 1 of "How To Talk to a Liberal (If You Must)": Never take advice from your political enemies.

I hate to say it but I have lost some of my fondness for Ann Coulter over the past year. She seems unnecessarily inflammatory these days. The Republican Party could really use some women pundits with her intelligence and wit but she's gotten really harsh.

But I love Mitt anyway!

Ah Amy everybody knows its an act to sell more books, some folks just can't handle a joke very well and her tongue can be very sharp.

Mitt Romney doesn't stand a chance against Clinton or Obama - John McCain is the only one that can beat them them...

National polls mean nothing at this point, people don't know Mitt and John is a known quantity, Mitt will shred the Dems in the debates and once his family is in the national eye he will win hands down. I like John but the MSM wants to ram him down conservative throats so they can savage him later as a warmonger and Bush shill. Like Ann said, never take advice from your enemy.

Welcome to the Barnyard, Maddog, you will fit right in, glad to have you here though most denizens are Fredheads or Romneyites though there is at least a couple McCainiacs as well.

We are slowly being lured over to the (shudder) Mitt camp.

****HE IS DEFINITELY THE CONSERVATIVE'S FAVORITE MODERATE.****

But we will back ANYBODY that takes on the evil axis of Clinton-Ophra-Osama-bama....

He is not a rabid right winger, but I don't think he is a moderate. I think he is a realist. GO MITT

I would say that like Reagan Mitt is a pragmatist and more personally conservative than most people realize.
