Florida Votes

All polls show a deadheat between John and Mitt and I almost don't want to watch. It will be very close perhaps hinging on a ton of early and absentee ballots cast and I will be on pins and needles till fairly late tonight. I don't look at exit polls but if you want to Geraghty at the Campaign Spot has some very early leaks. If it as one or two point win it means little more than some delegates, if it is a blowout one way or the other it could be the nominee is crowned tonight, I hope I am celebrating and not drowning my sorrows. I am betting on the Mitt organization and its GOTV efforts in the early voting.
Update: Very early returns have Mitt and John playing leap frog with 6 lead changes so far.
Update: With 30% in, McCain is up by 1%, with about 7,000 votes separating them out of 600,000 cast.
Update: Mitt is getting killed in Miami-Dade county and represents the vote spread between John and Mitt.
Update: Rudy is giving a very gracious and very funny concession speech on Cspan. McCain won three counties, Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach by huge margins that represent his lead margin at this time, the rest are a wash but I still don't know if absentee ballots are included. The fun part is Ron Paul has less votes than the margin between John and Mitt, I guess winning real polls is alot harder than spamming online meaningless ones. I don't think Mitt can close the gap but its so close you never know. I wouldn't concede it yet.
Update: A sincere congratulations to John McCain on a very hard fought win, I bitch about McCain alot but really will have little problem voting for him in November if he pulls it out. He may not be my favorite but he is still lightyears better than any of the dhimmicrats. Now it is a delegate race to the finish and bargaining time, McCain/Romney would make a powerful combo for sure, security and fiscal know how with social conservative bona fides and a very strong VP in '12 or '16. The race is not over, Romney has run a very impressive campaign to come from almost zero name recognition compared to McCain's total name recognition to where he is today.

At this point it is a virtual tie with different news agencies reporting different first place finishers.

It's Lisa. I forget all my sign in info.

I hate Floridians at this moment in time.

They say the economy is the most important factor but they vote for McCain whose policies will DROWN our economy over Mitt MIDAS Romney.

Well, those alleged GOP members in FL just GUARANTEED HIllary's election, or, God forbid, Obama's.

I used to say it would never be Obama but all political wisdom dictated that GOP voters in a closed primary state would not go for RINO McCain. I guess I could say they were influenced by his numerous endorsements but then again, that wouldn't be saying much either would it? Why am I starting to channel the "If I only had a brain" thing from the "Wizard of Oz?" Oh, it must be because I feel like I am in OZ.

IDIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!

This is jsut unbelievable and moronic. I am enraged to the point of needing something to bring me back to Planet Earth.

Everyone bitches about the economy and Congress yet what do people do? They vote for the guy who has helped screw the economy and who has been sitting in DC for decades.

Amoebas! Every last one of them who voted for McCain.
They are letting THE MAN, Mitt, pass them by.

It is getting progressively harder for me to care about this entire place because by the voting trends I am seeing, no one else cares either. They all care about themselves and the mini human pyramid scheem they are trapped in knowing, or unbeknownest to them via "Vote for McCain cause I am!!!"

Oh my...............Help. lol

Lisa is the one responsible for bringing me into the Mitt camp a few years ago, a Bostonite and sometimes poster here.

Why do the Republicans even let the old guy run? He's NOT a Republican. The Republican party is committing sucide!

Here's my prediction: Hillary Rodham wins the Socialist-Progressive (formerly "democrat") Party nomination and Picks McCain as VP with her. Obama campaigns hard with them (If they lose, he's up next; If they win he gets whatever cab post he wants or whatever) In that scenario, Romney- Googlioneeee , the republicrat nominees have no chance... You h eard it here first, in the Barnyard.
