Rudy Is Out
Rudy is done and has endorsed John McCain but I knew that from the very first debate when he said that he would be supporting John if he wasn't running. I know at least one vote that will go to Mitt now, my best friend was a big Rudy guy with Mitt as his second choice. Conservative Republicans now have to make up their mind between now and Super Tuesday whether to get behind Mitt or let someone that has shunned us for years in favor of some rather liberal positions walk right in. Mike Huckabee cannot win the nomination and his supporters are closer to Mitt's on social issues and has split the conservative vote with Mitt. The choice is clear now, Mitt Romney or John McCain, the Reagan conservative or the Rockefeller republican. Tonight's debate is very important for Mitt to make the case for himself.
John Edwards has also dropped out so watch for the Clintons to pull out the long knives for Barack Obama's scalp in a desparate attempt to take him out. This is going to be fun to watch especially after the Kennedy clan's endorsement of Obama. Their next debate is going to be a wild affair for sure.

I favoured Rudy too but it seems he never had his heart in the race in the first place. His decision to not contest the early states was fatal. Not that I am an expert on American election years. His foreign policies were the best.
Wecome to the Barnyard Beaman, Rudy was good but not really any different on foreign policy than Mitt.
